With an option to perfectly suit every Turbo Tent model, the Turbo Groundsheet seamlessly integrates into your camp set up.
Extending the entire length of your tent and under the awning where the heavy-duty mesh allows dirt and moisture to fall through for a clean, dry living space.
There is a small tear in our turbo 300 twin groundsheet. Under the awning. What would be the best way to fix it? A patch sewn in maybe?
G'day Kathy,
Sorry to hear you've got a tear in your groundsheet. We'd recommend hand sewing in a patch that will cover the tear, and possibly melting the edges of the tear with a match to stop any further tearing under the patch.
Dimensions of 450 turbo lite cabin ground sheet?
G'day Andrew,
The dimensions of the Ground Sheet reflect the size of the tent and awning. This measures at 460l x 480w.
Hi there Just wondering what the exact measurements are of this groundsheet to fit the the Blackwolf turbo 240 plus canvas tent. I know it’s measured to the exact size but would still like to know the exact measurements. If someone can measure it up for me that would be greatly appreciated. Saves me purchasing it first and then finding out it’s not what I expected
G'day Rick,
One of our warehouse team has just whipped out the tape measure and the Groundsheet for the Turbo 240 Plus is 2.4m wide x 6.1m long.
Will the ground sheet is included in the Turbo Lite 450?
G'day Hari,
The Black Wolf Turbo Groundsheet is available for purchase separately, so if you're after one to go with your Turbo Lite Cabin 450 then you can place an order for that size when you order the tent.
Hi, I boughtthe turbo lite 240 plus from here in December 2016, will the ground sheets still Fit the older model tent? Thanks
G'day Kat,
The Black Wolf Turbo Lite 240 Plus that you bought back in December 2016 has the same floor plan as the current model, so you'll have no worries at all with the current model of the Black Wolf Turbo Groundsheet.
Hi, is there much of a difference between the materials of the Blackwolf and the Oztrail Ultramesh?
G'day Rob,
Not much at all, the Blackwolf Groundsheets are simply designed to precisely fit their matching tent.
Hi Guys, what size would you recommend for the Turbo Air Plus?
G'day Oli,
Great question - we've compiled all the information you need to know for selecting a groundsheet into a blog which you can read here.
We used our Turbo Lite Cabin 450 Tent and groundsheet for the first time on the weekend. The groundsheet seemed to be bigger than the tent and extended beyond the floor of the tent all around. Is this how it is meant to be or should the groundsheet fit within the confines of the tent?
To be honest Helen, we've never set up the Turbo Tents with the groundsheets in-store, there's not much you need to look into when it comes to a groundsheet apart from the fabric it's made from and the corner terminations so there hasn't been a need to set one up.
I would expect it to come past the edges of the tent, maybe by 10cm or so. There is no hard and fast rule here, it's just designed to protect your tent floor and reduce the amount of dirt that gets on your tent, especially mud splashing onto the sides in wet weather, so the more coverage the better.
The turbo air plus is not listed in the available sizes. Which size should I select for this tent?
G'day Daniel,
The Black Wolf Turbo Air Plus footprint is roughly 6.1L x 3.1W m so we'd recommend a groundsheet that can roughly fit that area. The best fitting Black Wolf Groundsheet would be the Turbo 300 Plus available here.
If you didn't want a groundsheet under the awning, you would save yourself around 1.2m in the length. A high-quality option would be the CGear Multi-Camp Mat available here. You could also consider an Oztrail Ultramesh Tarp available here.
Hi there, before I purchase this Black Wolf ground sheet, how does it stack up to cheaper Oztrail Ultramesh Tarpaulin. Yes I know the size will not be exactly cut to suit my Black Wolf tent but I am asking the quality difference. After all Black Wolf ground sheet will cost me extra $175 more.
G'day Raymond,
I would say that they are quite similar, but the Black Wolf may be slightly higher in quality.
The main difference would be what you just said, that it's cut to fit the tent exactly, and has the eyelets in the exact points that you need them. Another point of difference is the limited lifetime warranty offered for the Black Wolf Turbo Groundsheet vs 1 year for the Oztrail.
If you'd prefer to save money, and you don't mind the fact that it won't be the exact size then go for the Oztrail Ultramesh tarp as it will still do the job.
I have a turbo twin lite 300 and from day one I've had a problem with floor condensation under the mattresses and rugs of a morning. I have all vents open and windows pegged out but it still happens. I've experimented with and without tarps underneath with no luck. Will a groundsheet help?
G'day Nathan,
Solid tarps have the benefit of protecting the underside of your tent, but there is that downside that it can trap condensation which we know can be frustrating.
The Turbo groundsheets are mesh, so they should provide some breathability that will help to reduce condensation inside your tent.
You could also experiment with using shadecloth, rubber mats, or foam mats underneath your mattress to get some ventilation under your mattresses as well. If you have any other questions, feel free to give us a buzz and we can try and give you a hand Nathan.
Hello Does the mesh ground sheet cover the entire awning area plus the actually tent in one complete unit for the Turbo Lite Cabin 450
G'day Matt,
Yes the Turbo 450 Groundsheet will cover the area under the awning as well as the underside of the tent.
Hiys - is there a groundsheet that covers the 300 plus footprint AND the extenda awning?
G'day David,
The Turbo groundsheets only come in the sizes available online so while there is one for the Turbo 300 Plus, there isn't a model that will also cater for the area under the extenda awning as well.
You could always use the Turbo 300 Plus groundsheet, and then use a mesh or heavy duty tarp for the area under the extenda awning.
Hi, further to your response to Mavrick were you able to obtain the 380 groundsheets and if so how much they are? Thanks.
G'day Lucy,
Unfortunately we haven't received them as of yet, and we don't have a solid ETA on when they arrive either. Sorry that wasn't too helpful Lucy, but keep your eye out for them as we will add them to the website when we get them in stock.
Does the ground sheet for the 300 twin extend out to the awning? As the twins are not the standard rectangle like the other Turbos
G’day Justin,
That's a great question! The Black Wolf Turbo 300 Twin size groundsheet isn’t a traditional rectangle - it’s cut into the shape of a capital ‘T’ so it will cover the tent, and the area under the awning if that makes sense.Â
Hi, I currently have the Turbo Light 450. Is it possible to use the groundsheet and have the screen room pegged down in all the relevant places? Thanks
G'day Aaron,Â
The Turbo groundsheets are tailored to the tent, and will stop at the edge of the awning where the screen room will sit - so there won't be excess sticking out that will get in the way of the pegs.Â
If you have a look at the first image on the Turbo Awning Screen Room 450 product page, you can get an idea of what the screen room looks like in action.Â
All the 450 accessories are designed to fit together, so you won't have a problem using them at the same time.Â
Hi, I have recently bought a turbo 300 plus and reading the reviews , I think I shall invest in a turbo 300 plus groundsheet. The pictures show a rectangle but one review talks about the groundsheet tapering so that it doesn't cover all the area under cover. If I buy a turbo 300 plus groundsheet will it cover all area under cover , particularly if I add side and front panels? Or will there be a portion not covered by the groundsheet because " it tapers"?
G'day Brad,Â
I've just looked into this for you, and from speaking with the customer support team we've never been given that feedback for the Turbo 300 Plus groundsheet.
The Turbo groundsheets are made especially to fit the specific model of the tent, plus the space under the awning - so as long as it's the right size and positioned in the correct direction, then there shouldn't be a problem with fit.Â
Hello What is the best option to support the Turbo 380 cabin? It's the only tent that doesn't have a groundsheet :(
That's a great question Mavrick! We don't have a groundsheet for the Cabin 380 in our system, and I can't see one in the Black Wolf catalogue either but I'd be very surprised if they don't make them. I'll get on to them tomorrow to see what we can find out and let you know.Â
Hi Mavrick,Â
As the Cabin 380 is new to this season, we haven't as yet got the compatible ground sheet for this tent. It is available through our supplier as it is in the Black Wolf catalogue - Â but we are just waiting to hear back from them about price and availability.Â
I do apologise for the delay in getting you a solid answer about this, hopefully we should have something for you by tomorrow.Â
Will the Turbo 450 twin ground sheet suit the turbo lite 450 cabin tent?
G'day Chris,
I've just looked into this and it seems that particular ground sheet is named incorrectly - it should be 'Turbo 450 Cabin' so I do apologise about that.
We'll get that fixed up straight away so that no-one else gets confused, thanks so much for bringing this to our attention!
But yes the Turbo 450 Cabin groundsheet will fit the Turbo 450 Cabin tent perfectly.Â
does this fit inside the tent bag or is it housed in a seperate bag?
I've just returned from our first trip with the groundsheet (Turbo 300 plus tent). Got hit with 2 days of rain. Tent stood up well to the conditions. I think we had the groundsheet around the wrong way. The last 3rd of the sheet tapers in. We had this under the awning, i feel it should have been at the back. Also, as per the tent setup video on your website, the extra 'plus' room pegged down after putting up the main room. Any tips on where to peg the 300 plus tent in relation to the groundsheet
Cgear claims that sand and dirt fall straight through the mat to the ground beneath-but not back up through the mat.. Does this groundsheet do the same? If there is a heavy downpour will the water drain away? Was thinking of buying cgear to put under but would buy this as dimensions match 450 perfectly, if it does the same. Also do you have groundsheet for the 40 extenda as well?
