The tent inner is mainly mesh, so there's plenty of ventilation, which will help to reduce condensation. The fly sits up off the inner tent, so any condensation that does accumulate shouldn't cause any problems. Marmot tents are Guaranteed Free of Manufacturing Defects for Life.

Yes the Tungsten UL 2P is a freestanding tent, so it will be suitable if you have trouble securing your pegs.

Marmot manufactures a specific footprint for the Tungsten UL 2P, however, it isn't brought into Australia. You could try getting your hands on one from a US-based retailer who is willing to ship here, or we do sell the Tungsten 2P footprint to most people with the UL model.

Yes, in fair weather, you can set up the Tungsten UL 2P Tent without the fly and stargaze through the mesh.

Are you referring to the 4 corners of the Tungsten UL 2P Tent? If so they are designed to attach to the strap from the inner tent, and then you peg the corners of the inner tent.

The Tungsten UL 2P Hiking Tent and the Zempire Zeus tent are a similar size and serve a similar purpose, however, in terms of their technical specifications, they are quite different. The Tungsten UL 2P is a high end siliconised nylon tent that weighs in nearly 1kg less than the Zeus tent. This tent is really designed for someone looking to have a very light 2P tent that will perform in a wide range of conditions, with a Lifetime Manufactures warranty. The Zeus tent is a heavier, less technical tent, with a polyester floor and fly. It does have a slightly higher waterproof rating than the Tungsten UL 2P but is much heavier. In short, both are good options, but your decision should depend on how much weight you're able to carry.

The Marmot Tungsten UL 2P Tent doesn't come with a footprint and the footprint isn't currently available in Australia.

Most high-quality hiking tents are asymmetrical. This is due to manufacturer efforts to reduce weight (similar to why hiking sleeping bags are a mummy shape, not rectangular).

Unfortunately, most manufacturers only provide width dimensions for the widest point in the sleeping area. In this case for the Marmot Tungsten 2P it is 137cm. We currently don't have stock to check, but I have done some investigating and have been told that the Tungsten 2P does taper to be only 122cm at the foot end.

We're working to try and provide these additional details, however, it's a slow process as we need to have stock available to open up and measure every tent. We'll update our website to reflect these measurements.
