The Tungsten 2-Person Tent by Marmot is the straight-up solution to fast and efficient camp setups.
Boasting a free-standing design with colour-coded, easy-pitch clips and fly – this tent is faster to set up than the sun takes to set. Come rain, hail, and shine, it has you covered with seam-taping on the full-coverage fly and a catenary-cut floor, preventing water invasion during wet conditions. Solution-dyed fabric aids in reducing water consumption in the manufacturing process, also resisting discolouration from harsh Aussie UV. Owing to the double D-shaped doors, move freely in and out of your outback hangout, and store the loose camp clobber owing to substantial vestibule space.
There’s more where that came from – literally, with interior pockets for storing the snacks and knick-knacks. Plus, bring the ambience to the campsite, thanks to a lampshade cranny for cradling your headlamp.
It takes two to Tungsten – with the Marmot Tungsten 2-Person Tent.

extra short pole approx. 10cm in length1 answer
After setting up the Tungsten 2P tent for the first time, i got an extra hollow pole about 10cm in length and quite unsure where to use this one.

G'day Joel,
This is a pole repair sleeve, or Ferrule, and is there to slip over your poles in the case of a break whilst you're in the field. It will slide over the existing pole break and reinforce that section so you can see out the rest of your trip. They are generally included in most tent kits as a 'just in case'.

Air Flow1 answer
There is no mention of, and I cannot see in the pictures, any air vents on the fly. Does this tent have good air flow?
Simon - Mollymook Beach, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Simon,
Generally only hiking tents with a solid tent inner will have vents as they require more airflow support. As the Tungsten tent inner is 2/3 mesh there's no need to vent the fly, enough air circulation will occur through the mostly permeable inner. Hope that helps.
