The BYOQ is essentially just a tough canvas quilt cover, so you can take your regular quilt camping without worrying amount damaging it, so there isn't a comfort rating as such without your quilt being added.

Just to confirm, the Black Wolf Tuff BYOQ is only a quilt cover. You should be able to zip 2 together by laying one on top of the other but you'll need your own quilt to fit inside.

You're correct, the specifications were a little out. Good news though, we've weighed it and updated the weight on the site now. They are actually a little heavier than Black Wolf is claiming. We weighed them in at 1.488kg.

I've just double checked this for you. The Black Wolf Tuff BYOQ's liner is sewn into the canvas, so it can't be separated.

Hi there, is this product a quilt or a sleeping bag? I'm looking for a warm sleeping bag for a couple which should do well in (0 to -5 degrees C). I've also viewed Roman double sleeping bag. Which one do you think is more suitable as per my needs?
In terms of weight, this one seems to be much lighter than Roman. Please advise.

Sorry for the confusion on this one, but the Black Wolf Tuff BYOQ is only a quilt cover designed to handle the ruggedness of the outdoors. You still need to put your own quilt/doona inside. Because of this, it's a little hard to compare with the Roman Double Sleeping Bag.

Just to clarify, are you aware that the Black Wolf Tuff BYOQ is just a heavy duty quilt cover, not an actual quilt?
There should be no reason why you can't zip them together with one laid on top of the other similar to most non-hooded sleeping bags.
