Hi, would like to know the thickness of the base of the inside pot.
G'day Missy,
I've tried to measure the base form our display stock. While it's hard to do to be 100% accurate, it's about 3-4mm thick.
G'day Bianca,
I've just called the supplier, and they've confirmed that the Campfire Travel Chef Thermal Cooker is made in China.
We checked the page #40162 as advised in a previous question on purchasing a bag and this says unavailable. Can you buy a bag?
G'day Chantelle,Â
I've just had a look into this for you and the Travel Chef Thermal Cooker Bag is not available anymore as it's been discontinued.
I've looked through our range and it doesn't seem that there is anything similar that's insulated so I'm sorry we couldn't help you out Chantelle.Â
Hi Kim, I’ve just had a look at the instruction manual, and you definitely can use both pots at the same time by stacking them. It’s actually really handy when you want to save time by simultaneously cooking a main and a side for dinner.
hi, does the cooker come with the bag or is it an extra please ??
Hi Chris, what happens after 8 hours? Does the food start going off?
Whilst we haven't had any comments regarding spilling, the pot lid is not vacuum sealed and given all the variables involved, there is a chance some spillage may occur.
Yes you can get spillage. You do need to hear it and then let the vacuum seal form (about 10 mins) then we put it in a bucket inside its bag, an wrapped in a towel when 4 wheel driving. It does still work and not too messy.
Can you use this Thermal cooker on stovetop, induction. gas stove and campfire?
We have used it successfully on an induction stove for the initial boiling stage of cooking.
G'day Helen,
That's great information. Thanks for sharing!
