Keep your food preparation off the ground and away from any mischievous wildlife with the Darche Traka table. The Traka is the perfect addition to your campsite kitchen as you’ll be able to slice, dice and julienne to your heart’s content even in the great outdoors.
Darche have made this product lightweight so you can haul it to and from the campsite with ease. It’s also compact and easy to store as the legs fold up under itself to minimise bulk. You can rest your cookware on the Traka with confidence as the alloy top resists heat, so you won’t have any kitchen nightmares on your hands. It’s also a breeze to clean as the smooth surface means there are no grooves for food or dirt to get stuck in.
This table has impact resistant edges, so you won’t have to stress about little heads coming into contact with sharp metal corners. Darche really know their stuff, so you can trust that their camp gear is well worth the investment if you’re a serious outdoor enthusiast.

Alloy heat resilient?1 answer
So will table top handle hot pots/pans or camp ovens? And if possible a Snowy's YouTube video on item thanks.
Mark - Mildura (4 years ago)
G'day Mark,
The top on the Traka Camp Table is heat resistant, however hot pots and camp ovens will be a little too hot for this table, unfortunately. The heat resistant top will be fine with a stove on top as long as it has a small gap between the stove base and table top, but unfortunately not for hot pot/pans and camp ovens while they're still hot. I'll ask the team to add this table to the video list for you.

Stability and weight capacity1 answer
Hi specs don't say what is the rated weight capacity of this table and was wondering how it compares in both stability, and weight holding with the OzTrailEasy 4 table. Wold you say this is more sturdy?
Steve - Midland(7 years ago)
G'day Steve,
We can't get a weight rating on the Darche Traka Camp Table but looking at the two side by side on the shop floor, I would say that they're quite similar when it comes to sturdiness. The Darche has a steel frame though which should make it a little stronger over the years.

Would the top withstand heat from a stove?1 answer
My previous plastic topped table melted and warped when using a camping stove on top of it. Could you rest a camping stove on this table? We use a liquid fuel hiking stove.
Liz - Fairfield (7 years ago)
G'day Liz,
The Darche Traka Camp Table is constructed with a full alloy top which is resilient to heat sources.

darche table bag1 answer
Hi- just wondering if it does come with a separate carry bag to protect the table during transport in our trailer. Perhaps you can provide me with a little more info on this- thanks
Dave - Mount martha(8 years ago)
G'day Dave,
This table does come with a handy carry bag which is a thick black nylon material so the whole table folds up and fits neatly into this square bag and can be carried with the top webbing carry handles. In regards to being transported in your trailer, as long as there are no sharp items or excessive rubbing, it should keep your table safe during transit.

extendable legs 1 answer
How do you extend the legs as mentioned in the specs.
Greg - Aberfoyle Park(8 years ago)
Hi Greg,
The "extendable legs" refers to the fact that the bottom half of each leg is removable so the table could be used at half height, more like a coffee table. I'm sorry, I think our description is a bit confusing here, I'll ask the team upstairs to re-word that on Monday.Â
