Rubber Tips1 answer
Can you get rubber tips for these poles and if so how do you change them.
Jason Reginato - Oxley(6 years ago)
G'day Jason,
You've got a couple of choices for tips on this particular model. You could look at the tiny, screw on rubber Tech Tip but you'll need a small pair of pliers like a Leatherman tool. If you want a more durable option that's quicker to take on and off I'd suggest grabbing the rubber Trekking Pole Tip Protectors. These can just be pulled off by hand and require no tools.

Difference between men's and women's 1 answer
I was wondering besides the color what is the difference between the men's and women's trekking poles?
Ben - Sydney(8 years ago)
G'day Ben,
The only difference between the men and women Black Diamond Trail Pro Shock Trekking Poles is that the women's handle is a little shorter and they are different colours. That's it.

G'day Luke,
Are you able to be a little more specific about which Original Trail Shock Poles you're referring to? Do you have a time period I can work with?
Ben - Snowys(8 years ago)
Sorry Ben, I'm just wanting to know if they're exactly the same as the Trail Shock poles released around 2010 (I think the Trail Shock were superseded by the Trail Pro Shock poles). Are they the same or do the Trail Pro Shock provide extra features?
Thanks
Luke - Buderim(8 years ago)
G'day Luke,
This is a tough one as I can't obtain much information on the specifications from 2010. However, from my research, the upgrades appear to include improvements to the double flicklock pole adjustment mechanism, reinforced control shock technology and the interchangeable wavelock tech tips.

Thanks Ben

Do these poles include powder baskets?1 answer
The model below these mentions them being included, do these also?
Jason - Sydney(8 years ago)
G'day Jason,
Unfortunately, the Black Diamond Trail Pro Shock Poles don't include powder baskets. The only Trekking Poles to come with them included are as you noted, the model below - the Black Diamond Trail Trekking Poles. However, we can make an enquiry with Black Diamond if you like to see if we can obtain them as a spare part?
