The Roman Tracker 3VD 3-person Dome Tent features a geodesic frame and a 3000mm waterhead on the fly, making them a stable and dry shelter in even the worst of conditions.
A combination of breathable polyester and No-See-Um mesh makes up the tent inner, which when combined with covered side mesh windows and roof vents in the fly creates a tent that is comfortable in all climates.

Has this tent been discontinued by Roman? If so, is there a replacement in their line-up that would be comparable? Otherwise are there any other similar options you would recommend from other brands?

The Roman Tracker 3VD Dome Tent has been discontinued, unfortunately. A comparable alternative is the Roman Escape Series. The 2 person is of similar size, but much lighter in weight as they've made a few updates to the design and materials used.

Comparison between this tent and the Coleman Traveler 3p1 answer
Im thinking of purchasing this or the Coleman Traveler 3p which one should I get? I need a tent that's suitable for heavy rain and wind, is relatively easy to get up and pack up,and has a good warranty for average use Coleman Traveler or Roman Tracker

G'day Trent,
It's a bit hard to lean one way or the other with the Roman Tracker 3VD Dome Tent and the Coleman Traveller 3P Tent. They've both got the same Waterhead rating, so both will be good with rain. They're both similar with design and so the wind resistance will be similar too. The Coleman has a 2-year warranty compared to Roman's 1-year warranty. The Coleman has slightly more headroom and the Roman has a very slight amount of more sleeping space.

Where can I get replacements for tent poles?1 answer
I bought one of these tents from you but after three weeks' normal use one of the grey tent poles has broken. Do you stock replacements or know where I can get them? Thanks, Russell.

Hey Russel, we don't have the same grey poles, instead, we stock the Oztrail Duraplus Replacement Poles, which we have found to be a reliable replacement pole... some of them can be pretty cheap and nasty. The only downside to this is that they are yellow so will look different to your other poles. As for diameter, I had to go and check this on our display model for you, and you are looking at both 8.5mm and 9.5mm diameter poles for the Tracker 3VD.
