If you’re looking for a tent for touring that’s spacious and easy to use but won’t cost a bomb – the OZtrail Fast Frame 240 Tourer Tent is the perfect tent for a small family or group.
The Fast Frame 240 has a strong steel pole frame with durable non-corrosive plastic hubs and reinforced peg and guy rope points for stability. The inner tent and fly is made from light and durable polyester that protects from UV rays and helps to make this tent completely waterproof. The heat taped seams and PVC coated polyester bucket floor with laminated welded corners will keep you dry in wet and windy weather conditions – so there’ll be no damp and disgruntled campers in sight.
Each window has a storm flap that can be shut with Velcro which will keep out wind-driven rain. You’ll also get plenty of airflow from the No-See-Um mesh which will prevent any insects from making a surprise appearance inside your tent. To set up simply lay it flat, unfold the knuckles, extend the legs out, add the fly over the top and then set up the awning and you’re good to go!
Sleeps 4 Adults
Mesh and Fabric zippered panels on D-shaped door
No-see-um mesh for insect protection
Side and front walls to enclose front awning are available separately
Power cord access point, light attachment point, wall organizer pocket, media storage pouch and loft organizer
Hi there! Just wondering if there is a way to either roll the awning of the fly back and to secure it so its not permanently up?

G'day Louise,
The front awning on the Tourer 240 Fast Frame has to be set up, so no, unfortunately, you won't be able to roll it back.

Front door?1 answer
Hi guys, it's not clear from the photos does the front door seal from the inside of the main unit? Also I'm curious about the function of the flap below the front window..
Jack Sherman - Elwood(6 years ago)
G'day Jack,
The front door panel on the Tourer 240 tent has an internal fabric panel as well as the mesh shown in the photo. The flap below the window acts as a bit of a privacy flap in case someone is asleep but wants to have the mesh open for air flow.

Oztrail vs Black wolf turbo lite1 answer
I would like to know the main difference between this tent and the black wolf turbo lite, a part from the price?
alzina - 6158(6 years ago)
G'day Alzina,
The best way I can explain the difference between the Oztrail Tourer 240 Fast Frame and the Blackwolf Turbo Lite 240 would be to compare the frames. The Oztrail Tourer 240 has a steel frame with plastic knuckles, and the Black Wolf Turbo Lite 240 Tent has aluminium poles with aluminium knuckles. Oztrail back their tent for 2 years, but Blackwolf back their tent for a Limited Lifetime. Maybe give us a buzz if you've got more specific question and we can chat through the features over the phone.

Oztrail tourer versus Oztrail cruiser tent. 1 answer
I’m wondering v what the difference is between the router and the cruiser fast frame tents from Oztrail. The price difference is the only thing I can find. Same denier fabric, same steel framework..
Megan - Ocean Grove(7 years ago)
G'day Megan,
Good pick up, the Oztrail Tourer 240 Fast Frame Tent and the Cruiser equivalent are very similar. The only real difference between the two is the fly. The Cruiser has a part fly that doesn't come all the way down on the sides but the Tourer has a full fly.

More Stock?1 answer
G'day Guys,
Your website says you are getting more stock late July. I was wondering if you had a more accurate ETA? I really want one of these tents but I have a camping trip planned in about 3 weeks and I'm not sure if I should wait for Snowy's or get one elsewhere.
Thanks

G'day Tom,
Oztrail are going through a remodelling period of some of their products (as is the case for most suppliers most Winters). Unfortunately, we sold through the Fast Frame tents so fast (excuse the pun), that we've been left with no stock until the new model arrives. At this stage, the only information we've been given by Oztrail is late July which I understand is not overly helpful for both you and us. Sorry!
