Wal - West Wodonga, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Wal,
The Bushmans DC65-X requires hard-wired installation, preferably by an auto electrician. I doesn't come with portable fridge cables. If you need more information, check out page 2 of the operation manual which you can find on the product page (below the specs) Hope that helps.

Thinking of running this on a slide in my dual cab’s canopy. Will probably stay put under a mezzanine plank so should be protected well from sun but what about dust and other weather?

capacity1 answer
Advertised as 65 lt, Yet the internal dimensions say 50 litres???
IAN - CAIRNS(4 years ago)
G'day Ian,
Thanks for getting in touch, I wasn't able to find any reference to a 50L capacity anywhere on the product page, but if you're able to point out where we've gone wrong I'll get it fixed up. In terms of the internal dimensions - if you're doing a volume calculation based on the internal dimensions, don't forget to account for both the main compartment (with basket), and the section above the compressor (grey section to the left).

Fridge/freezer1 answer
Are you able to use it as fridge and freezer at the same time or does it have to be one or the other?
Karen - Buff Point(4 years ago)
G'day Karen,
Thanks for your question! This is not considered a Dual Zone product and is only a fridge or a freezer but can't be both at the same time.

Cover is included?1 answer
Is the cover included and also the 12v & 240v cable? Thanks
Ann - Port Hedland (4 years ago)
G'day Ann,
I had a chat with Evakool and the cover isn't included with this fridge. The 12v and 240v leads are built into the fridge and are both included.

Connecting to a solar panel1 answer
Hi, Can I connect this fridge to a Dometic Portable 120W Solar Panel via a Dometic CoolPower RAPS 44Ah Battery? Are all the necessary cables provided with the units? Is a regulator required? Thanks for your help. Cheers, Michael
Michael - Kew, VIC 3101(5 years ago)
G'day Michael,
Yes, you could use the Dometic 120W Solar Panel to charge the RAPS44 Power Pack, then plug the 12V cable for the TMX 65 directly into this. The Solar Panel will connect to the RAPS44 Power Pack via the inbuilt regulator using the supplied cable with alligator clips to the battery. You won't need to purchase any extra cables to make this set up work.
