Providing an updated 250 lumens of light in a small, lightweight package, the Tikkina headlamp from Petzl is the simple design that will light up your adventures.

This headlamp features three white lighting levels, so proximity, movement and distance for different applications, and has a flood beam for using in proximity. The Tikkina also has a single button to make it easy to operate, and won’t weigh you down thanks to the lightweight design. You can use with the 3 standard batteries included, or you can purchase a separate CORE rechargeable battery to power it.

Hi. Can you please confirm if this headstrap is suitable for 3 year old and above? I have 3.5 yr old girl and 6 yr old boy. So want to make sure it fits their heads.

Yeah, absolutely, the smallest unstretched size adjustment on the head strap is about the size of a grapefruit!

The Tikkina Hyrbird Concept Headlight is designed to be used with standard AAA batteries or the Petzl Core rechargeable battery. The Eneloop pro batteries may work with the unit if they are AAA size, but we wouldn't be able to guarantee this.

Yes, the Tikkina is suitable for youth to use, the head strap is quite adjustable and should suit an 8-year-olds head circumference.

I've just double checked our display model Tikkina Hybrid headtorch and they don't have a clip for a running belt, they just have the head strap.

The Petzl Tikkina Hybrid Concept Headlamp doesn't come with the optional rechargeable battery, no. You can pick up a Core USB Rechargeable Battery here.

Both the Petzl Tikka and Petzl Actik come with red light functionality as do many of the LED Lenser and Black Diamond headlamps.
