There is nothing worse than misplacing your headlamp in the middle of the night and having to locate the loo or rustle up a midnight snack using your night vision. Enter the Petzl Tikka. It’s glow in the dark so you’ll never need a fumble for your light in the dark again.
Sporting an updated 300-lumens of brightness, this headlamp provides three lighting modes - proximity, movement and distance vision plus red vision which will preserve your night vision in the dark. The Tikka has two power options: you can use it with the three standard batteries it comes with or you can purchase a separate CORE rechargeable battery.
The Tikka has a long burn time, so it’ll light your way in the dark on many open-air expeditions before you have to change the batteries. Reliable, bright and easy to use – the Tikka is perfect simple headlamp for the hiker, camper or outdoors person.

Where are they made?1 answer
I’d like a non-Chinese made headlamp, can you recommend this or another brand?
Jenny - Adelaide Bc, SA(3 years ago)
G'day Jenny,
We've just checked the box, and Petzl manufactures their headlamps in France.
We'd recommend Petzl over any other brand of headlamp we currently carry. All of our other current options are made in China, or other Asia Pacific countries.

G'day Wayne,
Yes, the Tikka Headlamp is suitable for bike riding if you're planning to strap the headlight to your helmet. On its maximum setting, you'll get a nice bright beam out to approx 65m.
