Unfortunately, this won't really suit. The Fleece Liner will help, but Tassie tends to have very variable weather, and most hikes are prone to the risk of snow, even in the middle of January, so we'd recommend carrying a good quality lightweight bag with you on any Tassie trip, that will suit down to around negative 5.

The Reactor Fleece liner is rated as adding an extra 18'C, whereas the Thermolite Reactor Extreme Liner is rated as adding an extra 15'C of warmth. So they're pretty similar, with the main difference being the packed size or the liner.

Thanks for touching base, the Thermolite Reactor Fleece Liner will have fairly similar performance to the Coleman Stratus Fleece Liner. There is no official temperature rating assigned to these so it's hard to give an accurate indicator of overall performance. We'd suggest sleeping in thermals and making sure you're warmed up before you jump in your sleeping bag so you don't bring the cold into the bag.

I've just double checked and we have stock of the Reactor Fleece Liner in Regular, unfortunately, the Long Size has been discontinued though so I'll get the team to remove that item from the page.

The regular is 200cm long, so it looks like that's going to be better suited to your height as the long size is 231cm long. I apologise that we didn't have the correct specs for the long size there for you, I'll make sure that get's updated right away Nick.

Good question but one I don't want to give a definite answer to as we all feel the cold differently! I've used mine as a summer bag in warm conditions and it works well but I've also tried it in milder weather and been quite cold. My advice would be to try it out at home in the sort of conditions you're planning on using it in and if it's not warm enough you can always jump back into a warm bed! If in doubt though, take a proper sleeping bag!

The Sea to Summit Thermolite Reactor Fleece Liner is designed for camping and doesn't have an official temperature rating. It's also made from a fleece material making it a thicker fabric than many other liners. The Sea to Summit Thermolite Reactor Extreme is designed for Hiking and Trekking and has a temperature rating that adds an additional 15C to your sleeping bag. This is made from a thinner fabric to keep weight down.
