The all leather construction of the Terra GTX from Scarpa not only delivers on quality of construction, these shoes will be comfortable from the minute you lace them up.
You won’t need to spend a couple of agonising blister-filled trips breaking in these boots, as the Scarpa Terra GTX are comfortable right out of the box. The nubuck leather upper will help to repel water, and the Goretex lining will give your feet the breathability they need for when you’re on the go. The Vibram sole will give you just the right of traction to take you across different kinds of terrain, and the flexibility of the ankle will allow for more movement.
The traditional styling of this shoe makes it a timeless and supremely comfortable option for everyday rambles, and for other more active pursuits.
HI there, I tend to role in on my ankles which means trainers/boots never last that long. It also means i get hip pain when i hike after the soles have started to wear out on the inside. With this in mind, can these boots easily be resoled and if so, do you know where? If not, do you have another boot you can recommend? Thanks.

G'day Jane,
Generally, you can good a good boot repairer to re-sole most hiking boots. I've personally had a pair of hiking books partially re-soled by Blackwood Boot & Shoe Repairs, they've always done a great job on my shoes and boots.

are these the new 2018 addition?1 answer
I have read a statement on the Scarpa website saying that they have made some slight modifications to the 2018 product. Is this the latest addition with the modifications?

G'day Sarah,
I've been to speak to our footwear guru Kym and we believe that this is not the updated model. The images on the Scarpa website are a little confusing as they seem to have pictures of the model we currently have, as well as a slightly different looking boot. At this point, we've not been specifically told of any changes so it's safe to assume we might not see the updated version for a while.

smaller sizes1 answer
it would be great if you carried these in smaller sizes to make the range fully accessible to women as well- I have these and love them but my friends can't buy from you as they have more standard sized womens feet...

Sorry we don't have the sizes you and your friends are seeking Vanessa.
In our experience, full leather boots are not popular amongst women, so we carry fabric/leather boots like the Scarpa Mistral as a lighter alternative. I can't promise anything, but if you give us a call on 1300 914 007 and ask for our footwear department, let them know what you are chasing and they may be able to sort something out for you.

Are these boots unisex? 1 answer
I have seen these Terra GTX Boots listed elsewhere as for both men and women but your listing has them as 'Mens Boot'. Are these appropriate for women assuming I select the correct European size, or is there another different version of the Scarpa Terra GTX Boot specifically for women?

G'day Meg,Â
I've just checked this for you, and the Scarpa Terra GTX Boot can definitely be worn by men as well as women.
As for sizing, we only carry from an EU 41 upwards, which is a US men's size 8/US women's size 9. So if you're a US women's size 9 or above, you should be able to find something in the range.Â
