Is there a place to carry a tripod 1 answer
Hi Just wondering if the bag is capable of carrying a tripod? I always take my camera equipment when out and about in the bush.
Notoca - Carlisle North, WA(3 years ago)
G'day Notoca,
I've checking in with our resident photography on this one, and his recommendation is no. Whilst you could probably make it work through the hiking pole fixings, its not a great choice. A backpack with a stretchy but solid side bottle pocket and side anchor straps would be ideal, like the Pathfinder 33. Its hard to say for sure if your tripod will fit though, depends on which one you have & its overall pack size, but the suggested bag pocket has a fair amount of room.

I was just wondering what the recommended weight limit for this pack would be1 answer
I am asking because I walk with weight in my pack for excercise and my current pack is breaking at 7 kg
Roxanne - Vermont(5 years ago)
G'day Roxanne,
Black Wolf doesn't specify a maximum pack weight for these packs. The general rule of thumb for a day pack is that it should be able to handle 7-10kg of weight that is evenly distributed throughout the pack.

Amanda - Morpeth(5 years ago)
G'day Amanda,
There isn't anywhere that the hip strap can be tucked away on the tempo 30L Backpack.

Inside zipper at the back what is it for?1 answer
This zip just opens up to the outside for no obvious reason. One of the reviewers above says it’s the channel for hydration valve. However there is already an opening on top of the bag which says Hydration Port which is used to run the hydration valve. So can someone please explain what exactly is this zip openning used for as I am very puzzled? Thanks in advance.
Panda - Adelaide(5 years ago)
G'day Panda,
Great question! Nothing too mysterious, its just a component of the bags construction. Quiet a few brands of day packs have a zip similar instyle to this. There is no practical or functional reason that we have ever been made aware of.

Which size bladder can I use?1 answer
G’day does a 2 litre bladder & a 3 litre bladder fit in the backpack? Which size would you recommend? Cheers
Shelly - Corinella Vic(6 years ago)
G'day Shelly,
You'd be able to fit either a 2L or a 3L bladder inside the Black Wolf Tempo 30L Backpack. My recommendation would be to just grab the one that suits you best. If you're going to go for long walks or walks in the heat then maybe the 3L would be best but if you're not, then save the kilo of weight by carrying one less litre.

Is this the very latest updated version of the Tempo?1 answer
Also, I was told part of this daypack is RFID protected.
Stephen Rimpas - SURF BEACH(7 years ago)
G'day Stephen,
Yes, we're currently stocking the most recent version of the Black Wolf Tempo 30L Backpack. I've just double checked them on the shop floor and they do have RFID protection as well.

Is this pack RFID protected?1 answer
Just wondering if the Black Wolf Tempo 30l has RFID protection??
Robert - Clarence Gardens(7 years ago)
G'day Robert,
Unfortunately, the Black Wolf Tempo 30L Backpack doesn't have RFID protection. You can find a range of different RFID products by Pacsafe here, that might be good in your bag.
