The upper is made from a combination of waterproof leather and performance mesh for durability with a mud shield for extra protection. On a drizzly day, your feet will stay dry thanks to the KEEN. The dry membrane keeps water out, while also allowing your feet to breathe. The interior also has a comfy mesh lining with odour control and a compression moulded EVA midsole, and EVA footbed to cushion your feet.

Keen footwear has a reputation for being a fairly wide fit, so will suit most people with a wide foot. They explain what that means on the FAQs on their website: "KEEN shoes have a bit wider toe box than other shoes, but our actual shoe widths are standard. Our women's shoes come only in a 'B' width, while our men's feature a 'D' width (except the men's Yogui, which is an 'E' width). Note that each style fits according to intended use."
