Will it fit?1 answer
Hi. Just wondering if this would fit caribee pulse 65L? If not, what other bladders would. Thanks heaps Jamie
Jamie - Central Coast, NSW(3 months ago)
G'day Jamie,
Yep, it will. The Pulse 65 is hydration ready for either a 2L or 3L reservoir.

Replacement tube1 answer
Is it possible to buy just the tube and if yes, how would I go about replacing it?
Sue - Greigs Flat, NSW (5 months ago)
G'day Sue,
The only replacement tube we sell is the Camelbak PureFlow hose, which we're currently out of stock of. If you hit the Notify Me button, you'll receive an email when we next get stock. Replacing the hose is fairly simple, you just pull it off the black spigot attachment on the bladder end, and the valve end, and replace.

Cleaning 1 answer
How do you clean the bladder and pipe?
Kirsty - Inverloch, VIC (1 year ago)
G'day Kirsty,
Cleaning them can be a bit tricky sometimes!! You can find hydration bladder cleaning kits here. Alternatively, you can just use a standard bottle brush, or abit of dish liquid and warm water with rock salt in it for abrasive purposes on the bladder. The straw is bit trickier, I've heard of people using a small bit of sponge tied to a string that they just pull through the tube. Hope that helps.

Will this fit Caribee X-trek 28L1 answer
Will this fit in the Caribee x x-trek 28L? Also a few of the reviews refer to clips breaking and leaks etc. has this been a common issue or been improved because I am also looking at the Camelback 2L.
Karl - Strathfield (5 years ago)
G'day Karl,
I've just given this a whirl and I can confirm that the Blackwolf 2L Tanker Hydration Bladder will fit in the Caribee X-Trek 28L. The Camelbak 2L will also fit. In regard to the clip issues, the only issues we've seen are the ones listed on the reviews, all of which have been addressed under warranty.

Will this fit into 25L Cedarbreaks Day Pack?1 answer
I will be using the 25l daypack that came with the 55l backpack and would like to know if this hydration bladder will fit into it as not walking with the 55l backpack. Thanks
Marie - Brisbane(5 years ago)
G'day Marie,
I've just popped a 2L tank bladder into the day pack that comes with the Cedar Breaks, and the 2L tank bladder fits perfectly.

Able to fill with hot water1 answer
thinking of taking this to Nepal where we will boil our water for purification. Plan to do this at night then put it straight into containers to cool off. will this withstand the hot water?
Patrick - CARNEGIE(6 years ago)
G'day Patrick,
We've checked with our resident experts and the conclusion is we think you'll need to make sure the water cools down before you pour it into a bladder. It could be put in the Bladder warm, so we'd suggest leaving for at least half an hour before you pour the water in to the bladder.

Is there any way to repair the bladder?1 answer
I keep mine in the back pocket of my pack. I must have dropped the pack on something sharp and I have 3 punctures just above the 1.5L mark. Seems a shame to throw the whole thing away...
Bruce - Bibra Lake(6 years ago)
G'day Bruce,
I wish I had another answer for you but no, there really isn't any way to repair the bladder. Sorry mate!

Will this fit into a Wolffe Pack Summit backpack?1 answer
There is a bladder port in the pack but my concern is the spine and also as I use the pack when skiing is the hose rated at all against low temps
Ray - Joondanna(6 years ago)
G'day Ray,
Without having one here to try it on, I'm pretty confident that you'll be able to fit a 2 Litre Black Wolf Tank Hydration Bladder into your Wolffe Pack Summit backpack. As for the rating in the snow, they're not insulated like the Camelbak hoses are but in most Australian snow conditions, it wouldn't get cold enough during the day for it to be a worry for you.

What way to install 1 answer
I want to use this in a deuter rucksack (50 10 aircontact) - do I insert it so the black plastic spine is towards the inside of the bag or towards the backplate of the bag?
Greg - Adelaide(6 years ago)
There's no hard and fast rule here Greg. I would think that it makes more sense to have the spine pointing away from your back/toward the inside of the bag. But it could depend on how you are packing your bag, so I'd just go with whatever fits best.
Whilst pack brands place the bladder sleeve down the back of the pack, which is usually the best place for a heavy item like water, there's no harm in placing it elsewhere in the bag. I often lay my water bladder over the top of my bag and secure it with the top flap. That way the water is up high and over my shoulders, and it is easy to access for refills.

Do you deliver to po boxes?
Ben - Roseworthy(7 years ago)
G'day Ben,
Due to timeframe and misplacement issues that affected our valued customers, we have decided to no longer deliver with Australia Post. As a result, the only downside is that we, unfortunately, can't deliver to PO Boxes.

No hydration port in main pack 1 answer
Hi, I have a Blackwolf Cuba 65 pack and am trying to figure out how to use this bladder with it. The trouble I have is that the main pack has no hydration port while the day pack does have one. Can you please suggest how best to use this bladder with just the main pack with no hydration port, short of cutting one? Alternatively, if I carry my day pack attached to the main pack, will this bladder''s hose be long enough to stretch from the day pack (sitting on the main pack), over the top of the main pack, all the way to my mouth?
Roger - Melbourne (7 years ago)
G'day Roger,
As you've mentioned, the Black Wolf Cuba is a travelling backpack which means, unfortunately, there is no hydration port in the main pack. The best thing I could recommend is you run the hose out between the zips.
After testing it out with our display stock, while the hose would likely reach your mouth from the day pack, it would be hard to stow the hose when not being used. It's certainly possible (depending on how full your bag is), but not ideal.

Can you buy the mouth bite valve as a spare part? How?1 answer
It falls off too easily on its third use.
Phil - SYDNEY, NSW(8 years ago)
You can Phil but they are quite expensive, current retail price is somewhere in the vicinity of $18-$20 I believe. It is for this reason that we don't carry them in our range. However, if you feel there is a problem with your Tank Bladder, and you purchased it form us recently, then get in touch as we may be able to follow up a warranty claim for you. 1300 914 007.
