The Sea to Summit Talus TS3 is one relaxed mummy of a sleeping bag. The warmest in the range of Talus bags, this is a bag designed for the keen cool weather hiker or snow camper. If things get a little moist on your winter adventure, the Nylon 2D NanoShell™ will save your down and keep you lofty and warm.
When stuffed in its compression sack the Talus TS3 weighs in at 1225g for the regular length bag, which represents superb weight to warmth ratio. Off the track, stow the TS3 in the mesh storage cube to keep your down light and fluffy, and if it gets a bit grotty give it a wash using the protective cotton sack.
Features an adjustable collar to assist in fine turning temperature control, a zipped internal pocket for keeping your wallet, passport, or iGadget safe, an anti-snag zip that actually works, and offset baffles and side block baffles to ensure down doesn’t move around. The Talus TS3 is a feature-packed sleeping bag that will keep you snug as a bug on those treks or skis in more extreme conditions.

Talus III Still in Stock ?1 answer
Do you still have any of these Talus III bags (regular size) in stock ? If so, are they still $369.90 ?
Angus - Sydney(6 years ago)
G'day Angus,
Unfortunately, we are completely out of the Talus TSIII bags. I'll get the team to fix up our site to reflect this. Sorry for any confusion caused. We'd suggest checking out the new Ascent AC3 or Ascent AC2.

Hi I'm 163 cm tall medium frame female. Would you suggest the regular or short tallus 1111 answer
I'm going on the Tasmanian overland in February. Do you think this bag suits. Thanks
Gabrielle - Narrawallee (6 years ago)
G'day Gabrielle,
Looking at the maximum user heights for the Talus III sleeping bags it looks like you'd just sneak into the short, but if you'd prefer your bag was a little less restrictive the regular would be a better choice. I'd also suggest looking at the Sea to Summit Talus WTSI Women's bag. Based on your description of yourself you might find the women's bags fit a little better in height and through the hips. It's not quite as warm but either bag should be suitable for a Tassie trip in February.

What are the dimensions of the short size? Not in the detail section ?1 answer
Dimensions of short size please?
ian - mandurah(7 years ago)
G'day Ian,
The short size of the Sea to Summit Talus TSIII Sleeping Bag is 185cm long and 68cm wide. It's suggested by Sea to Summit that the maximum height of the user should be about 165cm.

Talus 31 answer
I asked you about the Talus 2 a week ago but no response. Now about the Talus 3: same question. I need to zipper two together - LHZ and RHZ. Will they go together or not?
Peter McPherson - Wellard, WA 6170(8 years ago)
G'day Peter,
I've just had a look through our system and I can't find your query about the Talus TSII - I'm not sure what happened there, but there must have been a glitch on our end - so I do apologise for the inconvenience.Â
I've just checked this with the display models, and you can definitely zip a Left and Right Talus TSII together. You can also do the same with the Talus III. Just bear in mind that because of the Mummy shape, it will be tapered towards the foot.Â
