The Sea to Summit Talus TS2 is the sleeping bag for the year-round hiker or trekker. Cool enough to use in summer, spring, and autumn, but with enough warmth in reserve to cater for a cold night in the tent. The breathable Nylon 2D NanoShell™ will protect against a sweaty night's sleep, but if it does get a bit moist ensures the down remains dry and lofty.
When stuffed in its compression sack the Talus TS2 weighs in at 1045g for the regular length bag, which represents superb weight to warmth ratio. Off the track, stow the TS2 in the mesh storage cube to keep your down light and fluffy, and if it gets a bit grotty give it a wash using the protective cotton sack.
Features an adjustable collar to assist in fine turning temperature control, a zipped internal pocket for keeping your wallet, passport, or iGadget safe, an anti-snag zip that actually works, and offset baffles and side block baffles to ensure down doesn’t move around. The Talus TS2 is for those adventurers that want one sleeping bag that will suit most conditions.

What length is Talus 2 short? Is it possible to change to regular when too small?2 answers
I am 1.63, but have a short bag from Kathmandu which is too short. I have tried the regular Talus 3 in shop and it was very long for me. Is there only 15cm difference in the length between short and regular? If I order a short and I find it too short, can I send it back and order a regular?

G'day Kitty - A bit longer is better than too short. How tall are you, if you don't mind me asking? According to Sea to Summit, their 'short' size is suitable for people <170cm (no idea why their measurements for sleeping bags are so vague). You can exchange if you get the wrong size but you will be liable for the return shipping, and it would have to be returned in as new, tip-top, perfecto condition for us to take it back. Hope that helps. Cheers, Paul

I am 1.63 cm. I have just had an answer that the total length is 180 cm including hood. Excluding hood, 166cm. The answer was that she thinks bag should be fine for me and can be returned if too short. I will have to pay for postage and extra charge for regular size. I should be able to fit and will order a small.
