Heading off on an overseas backpacking adventure? A bit of overnight hiking on the agenda? The Sea to Summit Talus TS1 might just be the bag for you. With a comfort rating of 1â°c, the TS1 is a three-season bag. When combined with a Sea to Summit Silk Travel Liner or a set of thermals, you’ll enjoy an even warmer night sleep on those colder nights.
When stuffed in its compression sack the Talus TS1 weighs in at 820g for the regular length bag, which represents superb weight to warmth ratio. It won’t break your back as you backpack around the world. Back home, stow the TS2 in the mesh storage cube to keep your down light and fluffy, and if it gets a bit grotty give it a wash using the protective cotton sack.
Features an adjustable collar to assist in fine turning temperature control, a zipped internal pocket for keeping your wallet, passport, or iGadget safe, an anti-snag zip that actually works, and offset baffles and side block baffles to ensure down doesn’t move around. The Talus TS1 is ideal for those looking for a versatile bag to protect against those nasty backpacker hostel bunks or for 3-season camping.

Unisex model?1 answer
I'm looking to buy a sleeping bag for my wife (165cm) and wondering whether to get the TS1 or TS2. Are both these bags unisex or is this the mans version?
Bruce - North Balgowlah(6 years ago)
G'day Bruce,
The Talus TSI Sleeping Bag is ranged as a unisex bag. Sea to Summit do also make women's specific models too but the Talus range are currently in the process of being discontinued so we don't have much stock left. At 165cm your wife could go for the TSI Women's Model which will give her a little more hip room.

How far does the side zip come down1 answer
Just wondering if the zip goes all the way down/ includes the footbox
Tammie - Melbourne(7 years ago)
G'day Tammie,
With the Sea to Summit Talus model, the zip only goes down one side of the sleeping bag and ends around 10-15cm before the bottom (foot area) of the bag.
