Will it suit a camp mat and gear? 1 answer
I have a black wolf mega deluxe double camp mat that I use in my oztent. I want something to roll up the self inflating mat along with bedding and pillows. It doesn’t need to be 100% waterproof either.

You'll just be able to squeeze your Burke & Wills Coolabah XL Swag into the Double AOS Swag Protection System but you might need to slightly fold over the swag before rolling to get it to fit lengthways inside the bag.

hey guys, wprobly a stupid question but better safe than sorry - was just wondering which dimensions i read to check if my swag will fit? I presume i read the external dimensions right?
cos the packed dimensions say 10cm high and aint no swag i've ever seen rolls up 10cm.

Yeah, you got it Meathead. The packed dimensions are the size of the bag when it is packed away, the external dimensions are what you need to take into account when working out of your swag will fit.

Would these AOS Swag Protection Systems be suitable for an Oztent Rivergum Sleeping Bag (XL or Standard Size), if I rolled the sleeping bag instead of folding it? I'd like to put our sleeping bags on the roof rack basket and these would protect them from getting wet.

It would do the job Jane, and you would likely fit two bulky sleeping bags inside. However I am more inclined to recommend something like the Sea To Summit Big River Dry Bags for this (you can find these by searching for 'Big River' on our website). These have an even better seal and are tough. The AOS Swag Protection System has zips and potential of small amounts of water to get in, which isn't a problem with canvas swags but poses a different story for sleeping bags.

The AOS Swag Protection System is made predominantly for AOS swags. The dimensions listed on our website are the maximum size of a rolled swag that will fit in each bag, ensure you check your swag against these dimensions.
