Compact in the car, comfortable and supportive in the tent, the Black Wolf Super Deluxe Self Inflating Mat is longer, wider and thicker than the Deluxe Mat, offering more comfort and warmth in a compact, easily transportable package.
The self-inflating design means you can put your rolled mat in your tent and the high flow reversible valves do the work for you. For those who sleep comfortably on a firmer surface, attach the included storage sack to a valve and use it as a pump to add a little extra air.
Soft stretchy polycotton upper fabric and a non-slip base laminates to antifungal CFC free foam, and Velcro strips run down each side enabling you to join two mats together. Complete with a repair kit, you can rest peacefully in the outdoors on a Black Wolf Super Deluxe Mat.
Great question! No, these sleeping mats to not have a weight rating, although you may want to look at upgrading to the Black Wolf Mega Deluxe Camp Mat as its the next bit thicker and might be more comfortable for heavier users.

G'day Yolande,
The Black Wolf Deluxe and Super Deluxe Camp mats are great options. The difference is in the size and weight of the mattress. The Deluxe is 6cm thick, 193cm long x 64cm wide. The Super Deluxe is 8.8cm thick, 198cm long x 66cm wide. Hopefully that will help with the decision making.

New mat differences?1 answer
Hi Snowys,
From what I have read, the better mats have 2 valves for faster inflation/deflation. The previous model had two. Why has this gone back to 1 valve and what other differences are there?? I am quite keen to buy this mat but tossing up between the deluxe also. Cheers

Hi Mick,
The new model Super Deluxe now only has one high flow valve because this style of valve lets more air in than the old spring valves, so it only needs one now instead of two.
The fabric has also been updated - the old microstretch fabric has been switched out to stretch polycotton which has a softer and less synthetic feel.
I’d say that if you’re tossing up between Mega Deluxe Single and the Super Deluxe Camp Mat the main difference is that the Mega Deluxe is warmer, and is a little thicker than the Super Deluxe - so overall it will perform better and be slightly more comfortable.Â
