Whether you’re strapping a drink bottle to your bike, replacing a broken buckle, or keeping your climbing ropes neatly coiled the Stretch-Loc 18 Straps from Sea to Summit are the answer.
These straps are adjustable and made from TPU that grips and stretches so that it won’t slip. Just wrap it around your gear and then lock it via the non-slip buckle. The Keeper Strap creates a grippy and padded surface so that your gear doesn’t get scratched, and lash two or more straps together to increase the length and versatility. With two straps included per pack, you can get creative with securing your gear set up.
Tie-down your gear or lash it together on your outdoor escapades with the versatile Stretch-Loc 18 Straps 2 Pack from Sea to Summit.

Hello, could you tell me in which country these straps are made in? Many thank,
G'day Francis,
Sea to Summit has a dedicated factory based in China.
Whats the breaking strength of the 12 and 20 mm straps?
G'day Kersi,
Sea to Summit don't actually provide any info on this, other than the Stretch-Loc range being comparable to other similar products on the market. I've had a quick look through those alternatives, which dont have a stated breaking strength either.
Sea to Summit have said though, that you can email them directly for the specific information you need, and they'll be able to pass that through to the design team.
Hopefully that helps.
I have a pot lid combo that is 540 mm so needs a band with that capacity to keep the lid and pot together. Should I go for the 450mm option on the basis it will stretch? The 500 option for the same reason? Or shoudl I go with the next size up? Thanks
G'day Steve,
The length of the strap is measured from the very end of the buckle to the tip of the opposite end. As the holes do not run to the very end, you need to minus about 5cm off the titled measurement to work out the actual maximum functional length.
The stretch only really gives an extra cm or so. It's not designed to be stretchy like an occy strap, just designed to have enough stretch that it creates tension.
If your pot and lid combo is 540mm, you'll need to go with the 625mm straps.
Hope that helps.
