From frosted moss to humid heights – the Stormsock Midweight Boot socks from Bridgedale offer an even offset of both warmth and breathability.
Trek protected with a 100% waterproof heavyweight design and Performance Fit construction reinforced by Lycra knit, preventing socks from slipping or bunching within your footwear. Where dense, resilient cushioning offers warmth and padding, inbuilt ShockZones provide such in the more sensitive areas of the foot. Flat toe seam and elasticated arch keep socks secure, pressure points minimized, and painful corns and calluses prevented.
Thanks to moisture management features, the Stormsock Heavyweight Boot socks remain waterproof and breathable. Coupled with waterproof trousers or gaiters, the boot length design also enables easy protection from water ingress. Pine needles, wet dust, or sodden gum leaves – enjoy the outdoor odours without post-feat feet, with anti-bacterial and anti-odour Merino Wool that keeps feet warm, dry, and snug during the distance.
Tougher than Dad’s calluses, the nylon outer later protects the waterproof, breathable membrane from wearing away within your boot. With a stretch PU membrane and three-laminated-layer construction, the Stormsock has an inbuilt class-leading stretch that lasts wear after wear.
Heavyweight like an outback iron gate, the Bridgedale Stormsock Midweight Boot socks guarantee a robust but breathable walking experience.
Performance Fit feature for close and supportive structure

Sizing 1 answer
Hi, I’m a women’s 10, do what size would I be for these sox. Are they men’s?
Belinda - Kingscliff, NSW (1 year ago)
G'day Belinda,
The Stormsock Waterproof Boot Socks are unisex sized, so you'd select based on the Men's size chart. Based on a Women's US10 I'd recommend the Medium size.

Wading suitability 1 answer
Hi snowys team - would these socks (all of the range) keep your feet dry wading creeks (with shoes on)?
Chris - Geelong, VIC (2 years ago)
G'day Chris,
Yep, the Stormsock range are 100% waterproof & are suitable for wadding creeks. There are some independant reviews on youtube from people who have done exactly that. There are limitations though, on the more extreme end. If you were to be wadding through water for hours & hours on end, you may start to get some dampness through the sock, but it unlikely many people will find themselves in those conditions
