The design of the Stealth Low Profile rooftop tent from 23ZERO makes it the optimal touring tent for those who want less drag and weight, plus better fuel efficiency on the road.
Constructed from 280 gsm polycotton tear check canvas, with fine PVC coated insect mesh, a round alloy telescopic ladder, and a 25mm heavy duty alloy sheath covered aluminium internal frame which pivots on a stainless-steel yoke – so this RTT is built with strength and weight in mind. This tent features a zip down sky roof for stargazing, full width side windows and side vents for air flow, and a 50mm open cell mattress with a polycotton cover to keep you comfortable.
It also has an adjustable fly which helps prevent condensation, and it packs away into a 600gsm PVC transit cover with D ring compression straps. The Stealth Low Profile RTT is the efficient and streamlined choice for setting up on your vehicle on your touring expeditions.

Mattress/Bedding1 answer
Do you have to remove mattress prior to packing up the RTT or does it stay in there? Also - is there enough room packed up to leave light bedding inside? (Sheets, blanket etc.)
Ellen - Jindabyne, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Ellen,
The mattress stays in for pack up, it's designed to fold up with the tent. You'd get away with sheets and maybe a light blanket, but anything too thick will make pack up to bulky, and put a strain the cover, etc.

Can the cover not have the ladder gusset - I would rather carry the ladder in my vehicle to reduce drag1 answer
Want as low profile as possible
Martin - Elwood(4 years ago)
G'day Martin,
The ladder can easily be removed as it's attached by 2 screws, however, the gusset is moulded into the cover and will permanently stay that shape. You could grab an extra couple of ratchet straps to tighten over this section which will flatten it out abit.

Weight 1 answer
hi there, I know the weight is stated as 58kg, but the standard dakota 1400 is marked down as near enough the same weight, is there any difference in weight? Thanks
jack - Doubleview(4 years ago)
Hi Jack,
They both come in at almost the exact same weight (give or take about half a kilogram). As far as we know this is accurate, with the main difference being the lower profile of the Stealth.

Difference between this RTT and Dakota 1400?1 answer
What are the major design/functionality differences between this tent and the 23Zero Dakota 1400?
Tom - Prospect(4 years ago)
G'day Tom,
The Stealth has a slighty lower overall packed profile, it has a 5cm thick mattress versus 6.5cm on the Dakota, and it packs to 29cm high, which ends up about 4cm lower than the Dakota 1400. Apart from this they are almost exactly the same in terms of sleeping area and materials.
