A compact tent with extra storage, the Oztrail Skygazer 3 has a spacious front vestibule and a fly that rolls back to allow exceptional ventilation on balmy nights.
Full height zips on each side provide 360° ventilation, or the back of the fly can be rolled back for an unimpeded insect free view on warm starry nights. Easily attached to the tent with J-hooks, should you experience rain overnight the fly can be quickly secured back into place.
Completely waterproof with a seam sealed UVTex fly and heavy duty PE floor along with entrances on two sides, the Skygazer 3V is a great option for the kids on summer vacations.
First time camper. Coleman Lakeside Dome or Oztrail Skygazer 3V. 1 answer
Hi, we are a young family and I am gonna try camping for the first time. I have a 1.5 year old as well. I would probably be the only person putting up the tent with little to no help from my wife as she would be busy managing my son. which one would you suggest, Oztrail Skygazer 3V or Coleman Lakeside Dome?

Hi Jai, either tent will suit your needs, but I would recommend considering at least a 4 person tent to give yourselves a little bit of room to move. The Skygazer is a great value tent, but for just a little bit extra you get a lot more with the Coleman Lakeside Dome 4P. It has a quick pitch frame, windows that offer better weather protection, and a vestibule at the front. The main consideration will be the packed size, with the Coleman Lakeside being longer than the Oztrail Stargazer. Give us a call if you want to talk things over. 1300 914 007.
