A single and reliable anchor for any shelter, this 3.5-metre guy rope is made with 6mm cord and has a loop finished in the end for quick attachment over a pole spigot.
The rope features a Supa Peg Universal Rope Runner and a lightweight trace spring that allows your shelter to move a little with the wind and allows for stretch or shrinkage of fabric as it wets and dries out, the result is a taught shelter for as long as it is set up.
A handful of these guy ropes are a must-have for any camper setting up a long stay shelter.
Do these trace spring ends fit on the 300mm X 8mm supapeg keyhead pegs? Or do I need the marquee size?

G'day Danielle,
Yep, they sure do. This is the combo I have in my camp kit, so no issues.

Tent or Marquee1 answer
I have a 10P Coleman Instant tent. I had experienced a very wet and windy weather. All ropes loosen and the tent collapsed and 2 construction poles damaged. Will this Single Rope & Light Trace Spring Strong enough to hold the tent or use the Marquee?

G'day Lesley,
Yes, trace springs are an awesome addition to guy ropes in windy weather. As they take up some of the tension and movement it significantly reduces the chances of your ropes becoming loose. Generally, though no tent is designed to withstand continued horrible weather. If the weather is looking to be more than a short period of wind and rain, and rough conditions are settling in the best option is to pack up and head home. If you have some time it might be worth listening to our podcast episode on Unexpected Wind & Rain when camping, which has loads of info and tips, you can find that HERE

How to these compare with the wooden slider type ropes1 answer
How do these ropes compare with the spring and wooden slider ropes for tarps? Thanks
Mel - Sydney(4 years ago)
G'day Mel,
Great question! The classic wooden sliders were the staple on guy ropes when I was growing up, however, they're not around as much these days. Having used both types the plastic ones would probably have the slight upper hand in situations like camping in winter with lots of rain around, and also I remember the wooden sliders smoothing off and having little friction polished sections after a time, so the guy rope would slip. I think it's very much dependent on the circumstances though and how much you'll be using them.
