Slippery?1 answer
Looking at these for our kids - are these a good option for young kids - or something else you would recommend? the material looks hard and slippery - are these comfy and will these slide around at night on the floor of a tent? And can they connect on each side (so three mats could be connected)?

G'day John,
The Sim Camper F60 Self Inflating mats are a popular option for young kids. They have a polyester top which isn't too slippy to sleep on, but not quite as soft as some other mattress tops. The bottom of the mattress is nonslip so it won't slip around the tent floor. You can connect them to each other so you could connect three in a row for some giant mattress madness!

Is inner mattress bonded with glue 1 answer
Hi you said this is a bonded mattress what exactly do you mean by that is it fixed with glue
Jamie - Muswellbrook (7 years ago)
G'day Jamie,
A bonded self-inflating mat, like the Explore Planet Earth Sim Camper F60 Self Inflating Mat has a foam layer which is glued to the polyester cover.

Compare to Zempire Bomberpad Camp Mattress? 1 answer
Compare to Zempire Bomberpad Camp Mattress, which one is more confertable for a 6 year old kid? Which one is easier to pack? Thank you.

G'day Henry,
I would say that the Zempire Bomberpad and EPE Sim Camper F60 are roughly the same level of comfort as they are very similar in thickness. The main difference here is size and portability.Â
The EPE Sim Camper packs down smaller, and is lighter than the Bomberpad so if you want to save on space and weight that would be a good option. If that's not a concern, the Bomberpad is an excellent mat that represents really good value for money.
Overall if you'd prefer something smaller and lighter, the F60 may have the edge over the Bomberpad.Â

Is it a bonded mat ?1 answer
Paul - Perth(8 years ago)
G’day Paul, the Explore Planet Earth Camper F60 Self Inflating Mat is indeed bonded – the foam inside the mat is attached to the inside of the mattress, so it won’t move around when in use.
