Yes, it's a good idea to keep your pillow slightly inflated when packed away in storage. This will prvent the inner foam from losing its shape and ultimately, extending the life of your pillow. Laine :)

We'd recommend sponging Black Wolf Self Inflating Pillow Deluxe with some warm soapy water. I would avoid using a washing machine at all with them.

The Black Wolf Self Inflating Pillow Deluxe has a valve on the back, all you need to do is open it and the pillow will inflate. You can close the cap at your desired inflation, or push a small amount of air out if you prefer a softer pillow.

I've just checked the packed dimensions of the Self Inflating Pillow and when it's all rolled up, that is the correct packed size. If you're looking for something a little more compact then the Sea to Summit Aeros Pillow Premium Deluxe has a similar in use size, but it's 13L x 12W x 6H cm when packed down.
