Enclose the awning of your existing RV tent with the Deluxe Front Panel from Oztent and the optional Standard/Deluxe Side Panels.
This simple and easy to use design zips to the front of your RV tent’s awning and the optional side panels. It features a large screened area made from superfine insect mesh, a zippered door for access and a drop-down canvas panel that can be zipped shut to keep out the weather, and double stitched tape-sealed seams.
The drop-down panel can also be used as an extra awning with separately available poles, and this panel comes with a ridge pole, carry bag and pegs included.

What size poles do I need to buy for the awning?
G'day Ida,
Check out the You Might Also like section for a link to recommended Oztent awning poles - otherwise the Supa Peg Aluminium Tent Poles in the 230cm size will be a good alternative.
Hi, Can I connect the RV5 plus with front panel (using awning connector / or without) to the Foxwing 270?
G'dsy Daniel,
Yes, you can. Check out the Features video on the RV5 Plus at the 2:33 mark for info on the awning and accessory connection options.
Will the RV5 Front Panel work with a RV5-Plus tent?
G'day Andrew,
Glad you asked - they won't unfortunately!
You'll need to grab the Plus specific front panel, which you can find here.
Hi just wondering if the rv4 front panel will fit the 5
G'day Robert,
No, it wont. The RV3/4 tents have the same width, which is why that particular size is interchangeable. The Rv5 is a different size entirely, so needs its own specific front panel.
Can youplease confirm this front panel will fit rv3, and do i need ridge pole. Ta
G'day Judith,
Yes, the RV3/4 model will first the RV3 tent. They are supplied with a twist-lock ridge pole, so there is no need to purchase one separately.
I have the Eyre 1 and the Eyre peaked side panels. Can this attach?
G'day Emily,
As far as we know this combination isn't compatible, however as we've never sold the Eyre model it's hard to know for sure. Oztent sells the Eyre Specific Front Panels on their website, so it's probably best sticking with one of those.
no peg eyelets in side panels why
G'day Eric,
Sorry, I'm not too sure what your question here is - you've asked this question on the RV Front Panels, they have eyelets in the outer canvas layer so you can have an extra front awning area. The side panels have a D-shaped door, so there isn't really a need to have eyelets as there is nothing to attach them to.
Just wondering in if is compatible on the rv3 with deluxe side panels
G'day Michael,
Yes, you'll be able to use the RV3/4 front panel on your RV3 while you have deluxe side panels attached.
Gidday. Do you guys sell a front awning that attaches and continues past the front panel. Thanks.
We don't have anything that attaches to the front of the awning, sorry, Paul, Oztent doesn't make anything quite like that. However, the storm flap on the front panels can be extended as an awning if you were to add a couple of extra awning poles to your set-up. You can see an image of this here - https://www.snowys.com.au/rv-front-panels
Stretchers don't fit in our RV4. Could we put stretchers in the area enclosed by the front and side panels and sleep in that area?
There's no reason why you couldn't do this, Brian. If you add side and front panels it will completely enclose the awning, but you will need to add a tarp or floor saver to cover the ground. The floor won't physically attach to the walls, but the PVC flaps at the base will still provide a reasonable seal against weather.
Ben answered very well. Reasonable is perfect. Good but not sealed like the main tent. Wind and water if weather is bad come straight through. Ladies and kids in the main tent. The man and his dog in the outer area best layout
Just wondering if these can be attached on the side of the awning of an RV instead of the front, in place of one of the deluxe side panels. Would work better with how we are planning to setup.
G'day Anna,
Unfortunately, the lengths of the Oztent RV Front Panels differ to the lengths of the Side Panels. In all theory, you can zip them on it the place of the side panel but it most likely won't line up properly and you might be left with some overhang.
what size poles do i need to use for the front panel to be used as an extra awning and do i need another ridge pole? thanks
G'day Mark,
Any 6" (180cm) poles will suit your Oztent RV Front Panels. As for a ridge pole, it couldn't hurt, although if you put guy ropes on the poles, they should stand without the ridge pole.
i want to have a completely closed in owning on the tent. What do we need ?
G'day Mary,
Along with your Oztent RV Front Panel, you'll also need the Oztent Deluxe Side Panels available here. These will completely enclose the awning of the RV. If you want to take it one step further to cover the floor, you can consider a solid or mesh floor saver available here.
We have the Deluxe Front Panel and found that the drop down panel did not have eyelets to add the extra poles, for use as an extra awning. Is it supposed to?
looking at buying the caravan connector and the deluxe front panel
I like the idea of being able to reverse our wagon into the opening in the panel the F25 front panel doesn't look as versatile
