Poles for awning1 answer
What size poles do I need to buy for the awning?
Ida - Perth, WA (1 year ago)
G'day Ida,
Check out the You Might Also like section for a link to recommended Oztent awning poles - otherwise the Supa Peg Aluminium Tent Poles in the 230cm size will be a good alternative.

Oztent RV Front Panels1 answer
Will the RV5 Front Panel work with a RV5-Plus tent?
Andrew Smith - Tolmans Hill, TAS (1 year ago)
G'day Andrew,
Glad you asked - they won't unfortunately! You'll need to grab the Plus specific front panel, which you can find here.

Rv front panel 1 answer
Hi just wondering if the rv4 front panel will fit the 5
Robert - Benalla, VIC(2 years ago)
G'day Robert,
No, it wont. The RV3/4 tents have the same width, which is why that particular size is interchangeable. The Rv5 is a different size entirely, so needs its own specific front panel.

Suit rv31 answer
Can youplease confirm this front panel will fit rv3, and do i need ridge pole. Ta
Judith - Moore Park Beach, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Judith,
Yes, the RV3/4 model will first the RV3 tent. They are supplied with a twist-lock ridge pole, so there is no need to purchase one separately.

Can this attach to the eyre peaked side panels?1 answer
I have the Eyre 1 and the Eyre peaked side panels. Can this attach?
Emily - Korora(4 years ago)
G'day Emily,
As far as we know this combination isn't compatible, however as we've never sold the Eyre model it's hard to know for sure. Oztent sells the Eyre Specific Front Panels on their website, so it's probably best sticking with one of those.

why are there no peg eyelets in the bottom of side panels1 answer
no peg eyelets in side panels why
eric - mt cottrell viic (4 years ago)
G'day Eric,
Sorry, I'm not too sure what your question here is - you've asked this question on the RV Front Panels, they have eyelets in the outer canvas layer so you can have an extra front awning area. The side panels have a D-shaped door, so there isn't really a need to have eyelets as there is nothing to attach them to.

Awning1 answer
Gidday. Do you guys sell a front awning that attaches and continues past the front panel. Thanks.
Paul - Bullengarook(6 years ago)
We don't have anything that attaches to the front of the awning, sorry, Paul, Oztent doesn't make anything quite like that. However, the storm flap on the front panels can be extended as an awning if you were to add a couple of extra awning poles to your set-up. You can see an image of this here - https://www.snowys.com.au/rv-front-panels
Alternatively there is an awning that can be attached to either side and used in conjunction with the peaked side panels. You can see it here - https://www.snowys.com.au/side-awning-rv2345

Sleeping in enclosed area2 answers
Stretchers don't fit in our RV4. Could we put stretchers in the area enclosed by the front and side panels and sleep in that area?
Brian - Sydney(6 years ago)
There's no reason why you couldn't do this, Brian. If you add side and front panels it will completely enclose the awning, but you will need to add a tarp or floor saver to cover the ground. The floor won't physically attach to the walls, but the PVC flaps at the base will still provide a reasonable seal against weather.
Ben - Snowys(6 years ago)
Ben answered very well. Reasonable is perfect. Good but not sealed like the main tent. Wind and water if weather is bad come straight through. Ladies and kids in the main tent. The man and his dog in the outer area best layout

Can this go on the side?1 answer
Just wondering if these can be attached on the side of the awning of an RV instead of the front, in place of one of the deluxe side panels. Would work better with how we are planning to setup.
Anna - SA(7 years ago)
G'day Anna,
Unfortunately, the lengths of the Oztent RV Front Panels differ to the lengths of the Side Panels. In all theory, you can zip them on it the place of the side panel but it most likely won't line up properly and you might be left with some overhang.

rv front panel1 answer
what size poles do i need to use for the front panel to be used as an extra awning and do i need another ridge pole? thanks
mark - payneham(7 years ago)
G'day Mark,
Any 6" (180cm) poles will suit your Oztent RV Front Panels. As for a ridge pole, it couldn't hurt, although if you put guy ropes on the poles, they should stand without the ridge pole.

RV 3/4 tent1 answer
i want to have a completely closed in owning on the tent. What do we need ?
Mary - Sydney(7 years ago)
G'day Mary,
Along with your Oztent RV Front Panel, you'll also need the Oztent Deluxe Side Panels available here. These will completely enclose the awning of the RV. If you want to take it one step further to cover the floor, you can consider a solid or mesh floor saver available here.

Drop down panel eyelets2 answers
We have the Deluxe Front Panel and found that the drop down panel did not have eyelets to add the extra poles, for use as an extra awning. Is it supposed to?
Bernadette - BATHURST, NSW(9 years ago)
I'm pretty sure it should have these eyelets Bernadette. I'll be able to confirm this with Oztrail on Monday, alternatively feel free to give our store a call on 1300 914 007 between midday and 5 CST on Sunday and one of our team can check current stock. I'll post my findings back here on Monday for you.
Ben - Snowys(9 years ago)
Good Morning Bernadette. I have checked our current RV! Deluxe Front Panel Stock and they look to have eyelets to facilitate an extra awning at the front of your tent. If yours are missing then the product is not as it should be. Could you give us a call so we can arrange some images for our warranty guy, then we can work out the best way to make things right for you. 1300 914 007.

will this work with the caravan connector1 answer
looking at buying the caravan connector and the deluxe front panel
josh - MACKAY, QLD(9 years ago)
Hi Josh, I had to pull one out of the bag to check this for you. The Caravan Connector has a sail track on one side, and two zippers on the other, this will allow you to connect your RV1 awning to the caravan connector, then your front panel to the Caravan Connector.

Is this comapatble with with F25 Jet tent 1 answer
I like the idea of being able to reverse our wagon into the opening in the panel the F25 front panel doesn't look as versatile
David - Woodbrifge Perth(9 years ago)
Unfortunately Oztent and Jet Tent accessories are not interchangeable sorry David. There is not much difference between the two front panels, I think you will find the functionality for your purpose is comparable.
