When you’re working with limited space, sometimes the best way to store your beloved swag is on the roof of your car. But alas, what do you do if the conditions are unfavourable? That’s when you get yourself an OZtrail Double Swag Sac to keep the dirt, dust, and rain off of your shelter.
You don’t have to use this sac just for your swag – it’s a great storage option for your self-inflating mattress or other cargo that you want to keep clean and dry on your journey. The fabric is super durable and waterproof making it able to withstand whatever the Australian landscape throws at it – which let’s face it, can be a lot.
To close the opening simply close the ends, fold them over and then connect the lock buckle – and hey presto! Your cargo is now nice and protected.
Will have a zempire monstamat and some light bedding inside Cheers :)
G'day Jack,
You can find the dimensions of this sack in the product details, but its 200L x 48W x 48H cm.
We recommend measuring your swag all packed up as you'd usually have it, and if it fits within the above dimensions, you should be fine!
I have the darche 1100 dusk to dawn but once I roll my sleeping bag up with it it’s a bit of a mission to fit it back in the bag supplied.
G'day Michael,
The RV Double Swag Sac should give you a little more space than the supplied bag if you're rolling your swag up with your sleeping gear inside it. One thing to consider though is that the sac is designed to load from the top which is a little different to the bag supplied with your swag, so it might be trickier to get in/out based on the overall length of the sac.
Hoping to get 2 x 900 Bandits with self inflators & Sleeping Bags in this. Then throw it in Kayak Racks on the platform with a quick clip strap. I roll them tighter with self inflators rather than foam. Do you think I'd get them both out easily? Do you think this bag would take a beating or am I better off going 2 x AOS KS? I'd rather one sausage than two if I can get away with it!
G'day John,
It's hard to say, but I think you'd be pushing it to fit two Bandit 900s in this bag. Diameterwise you should be ok, but lengthwise wise I think you might run out of length to roll the end over and secure it. My suggestion would be to stick with 2 x AOS KS bags.
Are they “tabs†running the length of the sac so the length can be adjusted? I have a 1500mm wide self inflating mattress and would like to take up any left over length.
G'day Brett,
I've just had a look at the display model, and to shorten the length, you can can adjust this sac by rolling it up and clipping it shut with the buckles. I hope that helps, Brett.
Will the Oztrail Mitchell Expedition double swag fit inside this?
G'day Dayne,
Great question! The Mitchell Expedition measures approx 145L x 32w when rolled up. This swag bag measure 200L x 48w so I can't see any issues with packing the swag as is, inside this bag.
I'm after a waterproof bag to transport my tent on the roof racks.
G'day Jonathan,
What a great idea, and yes! We've tried it our for you instore, and the Black Wolf Turbo Lite Plus 300 does fit the RV Double Swag Sac, with a bit of room left over.
If not can u suggest another bag that will accommodate the RV2 Thankyou
G'day Lisa,
Thanks for your enquiry. The packed dimensions of the RV2 are 205L x 32W x 25H cm. Judging by the external dimensions of the RV Double Swag Sac, the length of the bag is just short so I'm hesitant to say you'll be able to squeeze it in. OZtent does make a replacement bag for the RV2 if you'd like us to look into a special order for you. Send us an email at service@snowys.com.au and we'll respond with price and availability.
Can I please have more photos of this
G'day Shendelle,
Happy to try and take a few more photos for you, however, there isn't much to the Oztrail RV Double Swag Sac. Could you give us a hand and let us know what other elements of the sac you're interested in looking at? We can then accommodate as best as possible.
Does a queen oztrail mat fit?
G'day Justin,
If rolled tightly, the Oztrail Queen 4WD Mattress can fit inside the Oztrail RV Double Swag Sac.
Hi will a oztent rv5 fit in this bag
G'day Mick,
The RV Double Swag sac is exactly the same length as the RV5 when it's packed, so it's going to be too small for it to fit as there need to be some extra length to roll and then clip the end of the bag to secure it shut.
