Compatibility with Ute 1 answer
Would this work with a ute to cover the tub, connecting to the back of a roof rack at the end of the tun?
Matt - Seaforth, NSW (1 month ago)
G'day Matt,
Not sure if it would reach the whole way to the roof racks on the back of the cab, but it would likely cover a fair distance. You could also reverse you car alittle further into the shelter to make up any deficit. If this is the set up you go with, please consider submitting some photos with a review - would be super handy for other camper with the same question!

Rear door type1 answer
Hi there, does this connection need the car’s liftgate to hold up or provide tenaion for roof? The rear door of our 4WD opens right to left rather than lifting up. Just wondering whether that will affect the fit?
Jodie - Melbourne, VIC(1 month ago)
G'day Jodie,
No it doesn't, the link material will just be the height of your car roof. You'll have tensions straps to tighten the material.

connection to the EVO series?1 answer
Will this work with Zempire Evo TS Air Tent?
Jay - Buninyong, VIC(11 months ago)
G'day Jay,
No it wont, this is a 4WD link designed for attaching to a vehicle. If you want to connect the Roadiebase to the Evo Tent, you'll need the Roadiebase TS/TM link which connects the Gazebo to an Evo TS/TM tent.
If you are asking about connecting your Evo to your car, you can't sorry. There is no way to connect an Evo tent to a vehicle - the Roadiebase links will only connect to the Roadiebase Shelter. They're not compatible to be used with other Zempire products.

VW Multivan1 answer
Would this connect to the back of a VW Multivan, taller than the average SUV? We have the VanEssa kitchen and have been looking for a set up just like this.
Katie - Sydney, NSW(12 months ago)
G'day Katie,
The Roadiebase 4WD link reaches a peak height of 200 cm. It should be a good fit for most models of the VW Multivan, which is based on the online dimensions for the 2022 version (190cm tall). Just keep in mind that variations in wheels, tires, suspension, and other factors might affect the fit, so it's something to consider too!
