Made with 80% DEET, this gel provides time release protection and lasts for up to 12 hours. If you’re trekking, hiking, walking or camping in hot or humid conditions, the good news is that the Bushman Plus is water, sweat and rub resistant so it holds up to strenuous activity. Bushman’s Plus Gel will also provide some protection from the sun, which is an added bonus.

What SPF1 answer

Hi this is the product I was thinking of. What SPF was this product

G'day Steve,

I've been trying to suss this one out for you this afternoon and you're right in part about the law stating that you need to put the SPF rating on sunscreen but that's only if there's an SPF rating of 4 or higher. Given that the SPF rating on the Bushman Repellent Plus 75g Tube is so low, I'd suggest you also apply sunscreen before applying the repellent.
