The Rebel Task Light uses a Lithium-Ion 3.7v 700mAh 16340 battery, you can usually purchase replacements from your local battery, camera, or electronics store.

I can't say we're familiar with the olight Nova sorry. There are a few torches/headlamps on the market at the moment that look pretty similar, but I wouldn't be able to say which company came up with the design first.
