Ute compatibility 1 answer
I was just wondering if this would fit my 2015 hilux
Angus - Fullarton, SA (2 years ago)
G'day Angus,
23Zero have advised these will fit majority of utes, with the exception of newer models with the built it roller cover. The rack is fully adjustable, so you should have any issues, but we do have one set up on display at our Keswick store. If you're not 100% sure, or you want to check out how it installs in real life, I'd recommend popping down.

More Dimensions 1 answer
What is the minimum and maximum width when assembled.
Greg - Rosebud, VIC(2 years ago)
G'day Greg,
I've got a few dimensions for you, so hoping it all makes sense!
The length of the Tub rack is: 124.5cm on the frame 131cm including the additional length on the mounting tabs at the base.
The width of the tub rack is adjustable, the one we have in store is mounted somewhere in between, & with a roof top tent fixed to it we're not able to make the adjustments. From what I can work out with the different fixings, etc the widths are as follows.
Minimum: Top 125cm Bottom 162cm
Maximum: Top 137cm Bottom 174cm
The widths are not exact, but they'd be close, so hopefully, that gives you abit of an idea.

23 Zero Tub rack for wildtrak ranger 20201 answer
Will this fit with the roller shutter that is an existing one that came with the wildtrak? If yes, do I need to put a tub rack support for a dynamic and static load ( planning to put a 23zero hard top roof tent)
Raul - Glenwood, NSW(2 years ago)
G'day Raul,
As far as we are aware, no - these are not compatible with roller shutters. I'm not sure if there's a mod you can get that would allow them to work. I'd say that's a question best posed to the roller shutter manufacturer or your car dealer.

Roller shutter compliance1 answer
Hi, will this rack fit with a Mountain Top roller shutter cover fitted?
Alister Dale - Mount Lawley, WA (3 years ago)
G'day Alister,
Just taking a quick look at Mountain Tops info, it looks like the answer is no. Mountain Top seem to have a specific tub mounting system that works with their roll covers, so I think the best bet here is to contact them for more advice.

Good day, what’s the length of the tub rack when assembled?
Garrick - Bribie Island, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Garrick,
I've just measured this up for you, the rack itself is 125cm long, not including the extra mounting tabs at the base of each leg. Hope that helps!

I know you cant be too specific as all utes are different but what roughly is a safe weight to put on this tub rack when it is fitted to the ute?
Tim - Prospect, SA(3 years ago)
G'day Tim,
The 23Zero Tub racks don't come with a load rating - they're steel and incredibly strong. To determine the safe weight for these racks you need to adhere to the payload capacity of your ute. Remember you need to account for the weight of the tub racks themselves in this, and often also the ute tray and driver/passenger weights. Whatever you have left over in the payload figure after this will be your free load capacity.
Lauren - Snowys(3 years ago)
My ute has a payload of 1050kg, so your stating I can safely put up to 1 tonne on this rack?
Nathan - Hendra, QLD(3 years ago)
As I've previously stated your payload also needs to account for driver and passenger weights, as well as the actual weight of your ute tray, if you have a tow bar you need to include that, any other cargo, etc. If you don't calculate your available payload separately, you void your insurance, so make sure you do your own research to determine the free carrying capacity you have. I know the BT50 for example has one of the highest stated payload capacities, even though real life testing has confirmed it's closer to around 940kg. If you add a passenger or two, the racks, tow bars, etc you might be looking at reducing that by around 200-250kg, which leaves you with 700-750kg payload left - which is what you're ok to put on your racks. If you are going away, whatever you might put in the actual ute tray - eg. food, water, other camping gear/furniture, etc - also has to be considered.
Ultimately, if the racks are sitting on the ground and you load them up they probably could take a tonne, but that's not actually the reality of what you're safely able to load onto them when installed on your vehicle.

Which 23Zero Rooftop tent fits?1 answer
Which 23Zero Rooftop tents fit this rear tub rack? (eg on Ford Ranger)
Damien - Keiraville, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Damien,
As far as we're aware you can mount any RTT onto this tub rack, as long as your vehicle's GVM and load rating limits are adhered too.
