The Quest Qu1 from Sea to Summit is the value orientated bag for outdoor newbies or quick weekends away at the campsite.
The Quest is a tapered rectangular shape which gives you a bit more wiggle room compared to a mummy style bag. It’s also wider at the hip and narrower in the shoulder for a women’s specific fit. The WaveLoft™ construction is unique as it loops thick layers of insulation together to trap pockets of warm air, while also featuring thicker insulation in the footbox to keep cold feet from disturbing your sleep.
The 3°C comfort rating and -3° lower limit make this bag ideal for three-season general camping use. This bag is constructed with 30D DWR nylon shell and 20D nylon lining which are light and compressible for easy storage and transport. On a balmy night, open up the full-length zip to use it as a quilt and adjust the temperature by opening the second zip slider in the footbox.
When quality and performance are still a priority, but you only use your bag for shorter trips away, look no further than the Quest Qu1 Sleeping Bag from Sea to Summit.

Hi, What would you estimate the comfort rating could be reduced to by using my Sea to Summit Traveller TR1 (14degrees) as a liner? Thanks

G'day Kaye,
Yes, you could add the Traveller Tr1 s a liner for the Quest Qu1 Sleeping bag. There isn't a hard and fast rule about how much extra warmth it will add, but you'd likely get somewhere in the vicinity of an extra 5 degrees of warmth. It would be worth listening to our Sleep Systems Podcast for a bit more information on this topic.

If I was to use a sea to summit waterproof compression sack, what size and how much smaller will the packed dimension be? 1 answer
This will be used for hiking
Hayley - Alice springs (4 years ago)
G'day Hayley,
Sea to Summit specifies that the Regular Length Quest Qu1 bag fits in the Medium Compression Dry Sack. As this bag has synthetic insulation it won't compress as much as a down bag, so we'd suggest allowing space based on the packed dimensions in the specifications section.
