They're padded more so than insulated and are primarily designed to protect the fridge.
There's no claim to fridges covers improving efficiency, and oftentimes they can work in reverse.  The old models were also padded as opposed to being properly insulated, with the same intended purpose of protection.
In terms of efficiency, you can improve this by being conscious of where your fridge is located, air flow, shade, etc and the set temp, how many times you're in and out of it. Pre-cooling your fridge at home on 240v power and relying on 12v to maintain it is also a good tip for efficiency.

The CFX3 Protective Covers have some EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) insulation to help provide protection and insulation to your CFX3 fridge. These are the only covers on the market for the CFX3 range.

Yes the CFX3 75DZ Protective Cover for CFX3 has been designed to fit the new CFX3 75DZ model fridge. We've not yet seen the stock of the covers in this size, but they are due to arrive in late May.
