The perfect accompaniment to the Propane Double Stove, the Stove Hotplate from Companion, is just what you need when cooking that morning-after feast of eggs and bacon.
Designed to fit on top of the trivets of your Double Stove, this hotplate is constructed of aluminium alloy with a temperature resistant non-stick coating. There are no tricks to it, and it comes with a carry bag included, so all you have to do is pull it out when it’s time to cook and position it as you would a frypan.
It’s got a couple of comfortable grips on either side, so save yourself the headache of cooking up a big feed with a weeny pan and grab the Stove Hotplate from Companion to help make your cooking fuss-free.

Hi, Would it be a good fit for Companion Proheat 2 Burner Low Pressure Stove? Tia

G'day Luke,
We haven't tried it out but I'd lean towards no. Whilst it may fit size-wise, the lightweight aluminium is designed for the smaller propane stove which is about half the BTU's (heat output)as the Proheat. I'd say there's a chance it would warp pretty quickly and not be much use.

Can this be used in a gas oven as a cooking tray

G'day Linda,
Can't see why you wouldn't be able to, but it's not overly thick. I'd just keep an eye on it in higher temperatures in case it warps, in which case it should be back to normal when it cools down.
