to twin beds?1 answer
will this fit two zampire twin monstamats?
Raj - Melbourne, VIC(2 months ago)
G'day Raj,
The floor space in the Pronto 5 is 280cm x 280cm. The Monstamat Twon mats are 132cm wide - so you'll be able to fit two side by side at 264cm width total, with abit of room left over.

Ben doing a walk through.1 answer
Will Ben ever be testing this tent? Not many videos on the internet about it.
Darren - Sydney, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Darren,
We don't have a Pronto 5 video scheduled at this stage, but we do have some other videos of the Pronto 4 and the Jetset 5 which are very similar. The Pronto 5 is the updated version of the Jetset 5 and is essentially the same tent with some minor differences in the materials and air poles. These are the walkthrough videos of the Zempire Jetset 5 Inflatable Air Tent and the Zempire Pronto 4 Inflatable Air Tent V2 which should give some insight on what the tent is like.

Fitting stretchers1 answer
Would this fit 2 Zempire Speedy King Single Stretcher on either side of the tent without touching the inner wall? My current set-up is a Coleman Instant Up 4p and when deployed both stretchers touch the inside walls of the tent. This is due to the inner wall tapering inwards as it goes up. I was wondering if this tent will have a similar issue?
Terry - Melbourne, VIC (1 year ago)
G'day Terry,
The Coleman 4P tents are 230L x 230Wcm. The Zempire Pronto 5 is 280L x 280Wcm, so you'll have significantly more space, and no issues with the stretchers. Hope that helps!

Pack-down size1 answer
Can you use a deflator to aid in pack-down size? I purchased one of these recently and I couldn't get it packed-down to it's original size (I was trying to meet our check-out time!) It's not a let-down but space is always a premium! Otherwise it's a great tent that I will always recommend 👌
Al - Melbourne, VIC (1 year ago)
G'day Al,
The Zempire Supercell Pump works as a deflator as well as an inflator and would be the best option to aid in the deflation of your Air Tent!

Pump2 answers
Does the pump come with the tent or separate purchase? How dark is it inside when sun is still up (thinking 7pm mid summer putting kids to bed)?
Amelia - Hobart, TAS (1 year ago)
G'day Amelia,
The manual pump is included with the tent. In terms of darkness, we've not actually set this one up outside ourselves yet. Our instore demo tent was quite dark on the inside, but that's obviously not in natural sunlight. I think having the dark coloured tent walls helps, but it doesn't have a specific light suppression coating.
Lauren - Snowys(1 year ago)
The pump is good, haven't tried the fancy powered one, but I don't think it's required. It's not dark, but it's very good. Just helps you get up earlier ;) We also have a Coleman Darkroom 8p, and that thing is amazingly dark.

Zipper quality 1 answer
Dear Snowys Is the main door zipper quality and longevity of use better in Pronto 5 than the Coleman Instant Up Gold series 4 person tent? From Daryl
Daryl - Baulkham Hills, NSW (2 years ago)
G'day Daryl,
The zips seem fairly similar in quality, with the Zempire one perhaps being a bit larger. The interior fabric on the Zempire is a bit of a heavier gauge than the Coleman tents, which makes the zip feel a bit more solid, even thought there's not a hug amount of difference. The Pronto 5 is a relatively newer model tet, so we don't have much long-term feedback at this stage, although all reports so far have been good.

Windy conditions3 answers
Hello, how to these go in windy conditions? Do they undergo any wind testing? How do you think they'd compare to the coleman instant ups or the black wolf tuff tents?
Felicity - Sydney, NSW(2 years ago)
G'day Felicity,
General family camping tents do not undergo any wind testing, as its not an industry standard or reliable specification.
As the frame is air-based it has a bit of give and can move around in winds without damage - when compared to framed options that may snap under pressure. In terms of locations like coastal camping where there can be prolonged wind throughout a trip, air tents are a significantly better option than framed options.
Checkout our podcast on dealing with wind and rain whilst camping for more tips on how to best support your tent in poor weather.
Lauren - Snowys(2 years ago)
I can say it have same (or somewhat better) wind resistant performance compare to other similar style tent, i.e Coleman instant up 4 or Oztrail blackout 4. I have a EVO TS, which is a way bigger tent then Pronto 5, but it performs excellent in windy condition. I camp in lake side, in the valley, sometimes near the ocean, we even did a trip to NSW outback with our evo ts tent (all the way to Broken hills). Sometimes the weather is bad in some of our trips, wind and rain hit pretty hard, our tent perform solid and we were comfortably lay in our tent and watching our neighbours start getting nervous and pegging down their tent haha.
Ryan - Sydney, NSW(1 year ago)
We've had this in some amazing winds in Jindabyne, NSW during winter. We have it completely roped down, and we use the longer hex pegs. It's not going anywhere, the flaps of the inside windows do flap around, but the tent is more than safe. There is a video with Ben leaning on the Tent, and it pops right back up.

Gazebo1 answer
can this be used say on a beach or in a park as a gazebo/shade tent without the fly? And would there be enough tie down points to do so?
Hamish - Doreen, VIC(3 years ago)
G'day Hamish,
That's a great idea! We haven't had this question before and we don't actually have a Pronto here at the moment to check, so I've touched base with our mates from Zempire in this:
Yes, the Pronto tents can be used with the fly removed! There are some webbing loops on the frame where you could attach guy ropes, but they are not really intended for this and might not be strong enough, so we would just recommend using the corner pegs and leaving the side window covers open. The large mesh window panels will not catch the wid as much as a tent fly or closed window, so this should help when using the tent without the fly.
Hope that helps!

Ventilation1 answer
With these tents ,,is true the vented roof can't be closed ,sealed ,,,so would it make these tents bad for cold nights ,or a cold weather?? ,If so not so good? And will they ever make a version with non mesh roof ,,it's a shame
tony - Canberra(3 years ago)
G'day Tony,
Its the opposite actually, the mesh roof reduces condensation issues in winter and can drastically improve the cold season camping experience. Whether a tent inner is made from mesh or a thin piece of material makes no difference to insulation. Tents arent designed to keep you warm, they're designed to provide shelter and protection from the elements. If you are concerned about cold weather camping being an issue, invest in great quality mats and sleeping gear.

Pronto 5 vs Jetset 51 answer
Hi guys, just wandering what the difference is between the zempire jetset 5 (v2) and the pronto 5?
Ben - Kingaroy, QLD(4 years ago)
G'day Ben,
The Pronto 5 is the new version of the Jetset 5. Zempire re-named these models when they updated their poles to the SeroLink™ frame system. Aside from this, they have the same great features.

Seasons2 answers
Is this for all weather camping?
Tk - Sydney(4 years ago)
G'day Tk,
The Pronto 5 tent can be used in most weather. Internally the roof is mesh, so it'll be great for ventilation in summer and shoulder season camping. It will also be ideal for winter conditions where ventilation is a massive factor in offsetting condensation issues. If you've got good quality insulated sleeping bags and mats, then it should also be fine for most Australian winter conditions.
Leece - Snowys(4 years ago)
I can honestly say this was an amazing choice for winter camping. As Leece mentioned, we need to combat the condensation due to freezing conditions outside and the mesh roof does exactly what you need. I heard a great saying "your tent is to keep you dry, not warm" with the correct sleeping bags, we are more than comfortable in -5 degrees outside sleeping.

Is this a darkroom tent1 answer
Is this a darkroom tent like the Coleman Northstar 6p and how does set up time compare between the 2?
JP - BRIGHTON(4 years ago)
G'day JP,
The Pronto 5 doesn't have a darkroom coating like the Coleman Northstar Tents. In terms of set up time, the Pronto will take about the same time as an Instant Up tent to set up.

Awning poles1 answer
Hi, just wondering if the awning poles are included?
B - Jingili(4 years ago)
G'day B,
We've just double-checked this, and yes the Pronto 5 does come with awning poles.
