You’ll be able to reliably fire up your lightweight canister stove and make a hot drink or meal out on the trail with the Pro: Fuel Butane Cartridge from Companion.
This high-performance mix can be used in four-season conditions as it contains a mix of 45% butane, 28% isobutane and 26% propane and comes in two sizes. The valve is resealable so that it can be shifted between different appliances even when you have some gas left, and it is compliant with EN417 and DOT2P safety standards for your peace of mind.
Power your canister stove on your next trip away with the high-performance Pro: Fuel Butane Cartridges from Companion.
Staff tip:Butane stops vaporising at −0.5°C (its boiling point) and Isobutane continues vaporising down to −11.6°C. Depending on the blend of the fuel you are using, you may experience different levels of performance at low temperatures. For use in alpine conditions or cold temperatures, consider using a liquid fuel stove.

Can this cannister be used with a Bleuet 470 Gaz Stove
Robert - Woodside, SA(8 months ago)
G'day Robert,
Potentially, but I can't find any information specifying what valve this stove connects to. This gas has a B188 or Lindal Valve fitting, so if you can find out the details for your stove and they line up, it will be compatible.

Butane Gas Cans1 answer
Do these butane gas cans freeze up at low temps, like the longer portable stove cans?
PAUL - Erskine Park, NSW(2 years ago)
G'day Paul,
These are not pure butane, these canisters are a combination Butane/Isobutane/Propane Fuel Mix, compatible with lindal valve hiking stoves. They have better performance than standard butane, however, if you are wanting something for close to zero or subzero temperatures, the MSR IsoPro Fuel is the best option. They have no butane, and a fuel mix ideal for very cold temps.

pro fuel 250g1 answer
rough est of how many burn hours in one 250g
james - Ballina, NSW (3 years ago)
G'day James,
Thats a great question, but very much depends on the fuel consumption rate of your particular stove which you will find in the specifications/manual. If you're not sure you should be able to find this info out on our site if we stock the stove, or head to the manufacturing brand's website. Some stoves may get around 1hr, some may get closer to 2.5hrs.

Pro:Fuel/Jetboil Minimo safe together?1 answer
On the base of the Jetboil Minimo box it has a message warning that ,"This appliance shall only be used with Jetboil Jetpower Butane-Propane canisters. IT MAY BE HAZARDOUS TO ATTEMPT TO FIT OTHER TYPES OF GAS CONTAINERS." Does this exclude the use of Pro:Fuel or any other brand? I would like to purchase this product but jetboil canisters are not always readily available. Reading reviews on the Minimo some users said they had a plastic component melt. Is this what Jetboil is warning about?
Michael - Carina Heights, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Michael,
I personally own a MiniMo and have used MSR, Jetboil, and Pro:Fuel gas canisters without issue. I think that as long as you don't leave your stove unattended, and you keep an eye on it, it shouldn't be an issue. We do advise though that you use your own discretion.

Would this be suitable for a Soto Amicus stove?1 answer
I have a soto amicus stove and wanting to find out if this fuel canister is compatible to use with it.
John - Skye, SA(4 years ago)
G'day John,
Yes, the Soto Amicus uses the same canister attachment style. The attachment is a Lindal Valve, and can be found on almost all of the lighter weight screw thread butane canisters we sell in-store.

Can this be used with a jet boil flash?1 answer
Can this fuel be used with a jetboil flash system?
Louis - 2290(4 years ago)
G'day Louis,
It sure can, you just won't be able to store the canister inside the jetboil cup itself.
