Suitable for powered camp site ?1 answer
Hi Is this suitable for powered tent site. I’m needing a 15amp yet at the female end , can I plug my ph charger etc into this ??
Shiree - Redcliffe North, QLD(4 years ago)
G'day Shiree,
The 15 AMP Extension Lead should be fine at most camp sites, however, you'd need to confirm with them whether they have 15 AMP outlets for all their powered sites, or only on their caravan sites. You can plug a standard 10 AMP plug into the female end of these extension leads, that isn't a problem.

15 amp lead 1 answer
Hello I need a normal plug at one end (whatever amps that is) and a 15 amp female end. Is that what this lead is?
Belinda - Karratha (5 years ago)
G'day Belinda,
The entire cable is rated to 15AMP to bring power your caravan/RV setup. This means that the cable must be plugged into a 15A socket. If you're wanting to plug your van into your standard home powerpoint then you'll need to run the cable through a power adapter with a built-in circuit breaker like this Ampfibian RV Plus 15A-10A Power Adapter.
