The Popup Billy Kettle 08.L is just a stovetop kettle, so it can't be plugged into a power source. If you're after a 240V version take a look at the Popup Billy 240V Kettle. These will operate at 900-1100w.

There's nothing to say you can't use the Popup Billy Kettle 0.8L to heat milk for your coffee. The opening is fairly small but you should be able to fit a small dish brush into it for cleaning.

I've had a look at the packaging on the Companion Pop Up Billy Kettle, and it doesn't say whether it is compatible with induction cooktops.
However, when I tested it with a magnet, it didn't stick - so I think it's safe to say this kettle isn't appropriate for use with induction systems as it doesn't have a magnetised surface.Â
