Gasmate 4kg POL gas cylinder1 answer
The regulator that came with my Gasland Outdoor Hot Water Heater has a male fitting ie it is not round. Will that fit this Gasmate POL bottle?

There are only two gas bottle fittings currently approved for use on recreational LPG appliances. One is the POL fitting, which is used on most larger regulated items (like heaters), and 3/8" BSP which is usually used on smaller stoves and lanterns. We'd recommend confirming with the company you purchased your water heater from, but based on your description, and what I can see on the Gasland website, the fitting on your unit is POL, and will fit this bottle.

Hi, Do your 4 kg gas bottle fit the 4.5 kg holders? If so, why call them 4.5 kg gas bottle holders and not 4 kg gas bottle holders? Regards

The Gasmate 4kg gas bottles will fit the Oztrail 4.5kg Gas bottle holder. The holder has an adjustable length screw in the latch mechanism so that they can fit a variety of bottles from different brands in both 4kg or 4.5kg size. We've named the holder as per the name Oztrail has given it.

All of the 4kg Gasmate bottles in stock at the moment are stamped 11/2017. We have been in touch with Gasmate about this and they have informed us that unlike some cylinder manufacturers, they do not re-stamp their bottles. We are very happy to offer you a 20% discount to compensate for the date if you are interested. Alternatively, we have recently received a new shipment of 2kg bottles which are stamped 05/2019. Cheers :)
