Staff tip:Just to cover our bums, we need to mention that the gas canister is a separate item.
You can use any lightweight hiking cookware as long as it's not too big - anything too large won't distribute heat well and could be a bit wobbly on such a small stove.

Is this the pocket rocket 2 latest version?1 answer
As above
Mark - South Morang(8 years ago)
G'day Mark,
I've just double checked the stock, and this stove is definitely the Pocket Rocket model, not the Pocket Rocket 2.
I've given the supplier a call, and it looks like the Pocket Rocket is going to be available in Australia very soon. We don't have a solid date as of yet, but it looks like late April is the approximate ETA at this time.

do you supply the gas cannister for this?1 answer
msr pocket rocket
rod - landsborough(8 years ago)
We do Rod, but being classed as a dangerous good they are not something we can ship. The fitting is the same as any similar self-sealing isobutane/propane cannister, and we carry the high-performance MSR branded canisters which are an 80/20 mix of isobutane and propane and almost twice the price of the more common 70/30 mix canisters such as Companion and Elemental brands. Unless you are using the stove in extreme cold or at altitude, the 70/30 mix will be fine.
