G'day Pam,
It would depend on which Thermos you have, we don't sell a 1L model, so I tried the Thermos Stainless King 1.2L Insulated Flask and it just fit in the pocket, but the zipper at the top was unable to be closed.

Hi Amanda, the wine glasses are made from polycarbonate, and the plates are made from melamine. There isn’t anything about whether it can be used in a dishwasher on the product, but I’ve researched it a little bit and there’s a lot of content online that says both materials are dishwasher safe. Just keep in mind that because there isn’t any supporting information, there is a risk of shortening the life of the product.
