This roof top tent is constructed from 1500mm PU waterproofed 320gsm Ripstop canvas, with a HD compressed checker-plate baseboard and comes with a PVC tonneau cover for transport. Featuring seam-sealed twin needle lock-stitched seams, and reinforced bar tack stitching on all the stress points – this shelter is made to last. The zippered window allows you to stargaze and you can snooze soundly on the included 50mm high-density open-cell foam mattress. It’s got a tropical fly to help prevent condensation, built-in air vents allow for airflow, and the 180° side windows with fine insect mesh keep the bugs out. Finished with a 25mm diameter internal aluminium frame, stainless steel centre hinges and an alloy telescope 2.3m extendable ladder for access - you’re all set.

There are loads of people who have installed roof top tents to Platform Roof racks, but the actual installation and potential additional fitting required depends on the tent and rack you have. The best bet is to get some additional advice from Rhino Rack & make sure you have everything you need for installation.

This very much depends on your vehicles roof load capacity. Please note this is NOT the load rating of your roof racks, it is maximum capacity on the physical roof of your car, and this legally cannot be exceeded. This particular load rating can be found in your vehicle manual, but according to a quick google search, this is 75Kg - not including the weight of your roof racks. According to the physical manual for you vehicle it states: If you put cargo on the roof, use a Honda-approved rack, distribute the cargo evenly with the heaviest items on the bottom, secure all items, and make sure the cargo does not exceed 75 Ib (34 kg). Baring this in mind, the Roof Top Tent is 71Kg, and far exceeds the legal capacity of your vehicle.
