Movie night or sleepovers, campfires or campervans – wrapping the Coleman Outdoor Blanket Single around you will keep the chilly air at bay no matter where you are or what you’re doing.
Designed with a wave-like stitch running the 177cm length, this blanket has a quilted construction so the inner fibre won’t go bunching up in weird clumps. It features hollow polyester insulation called Coletherm, and being machine washable, keeping it clean is an easy fix.
Don’t go dragging your doona camping; take the Outdoor Blanket Single from Coleman instead. It makes a perfect additional layer for your sleeping bag in winter!

Will it reflect body heat/2 answers
G’day team, what’s your opinion on how this would go as a thermal blanket to keep out the cold under a mattress on the ground in the tent? Right now, we lay down a silver thermal ‘rescue’ sheet and an old double sleeping bag over that then the mattress. That works great but bulky to carry around and something like this would be great if it has those reflective thermal qualities

G'day Steve,
The Outdoor Blanket isn't really designed to do what you're trying to do here. They're designed to trap body heat on top of a mattress, preferably an insulated mattress. If you're currently using a thermal recuse sheet and an old sleeping bag under your mattress, I'm guessing that you must be sleeping on an air mattress? If so, then we'd recommend investing your money in an insulated self-inflating mattress, as this will solve all of the problems you've highlighted, and reduce your overall weight and bulk.

G'day Steve,
Its just a standard quilted blanket with the same style and insulation construction as a 5*c comfort rating sleeping bag, just without the zips. There are no thermal properties in them at all. It would replace the sleeping bag in the setup you're talking about, but you'd still need to use the silver rescue sheet.
