How much does this weigh ?1 answer
Just wondering how much this package weighs
Thank you
Michael - Brisbane(8 years ago)
Hi Michael - The packaging says 500g but I've weighed one just to verify and it came in at 540g. At that weight, it's more of a car camping option, but if you're going on an overnight or a couple of day hiking trip, the taste will make it worth it. Hope that helps. Cheers, Paul

how long is the shelf life?1 answer
Peter - EGLINTON, WA(8 years ago)
Our current stock is stamped with a July 2017 date Peter. Take not that these are best before dates rather than use by dates, which means that they are still safe to eat after the stamped date but the quality or taste of the meal will not be as good.

How hot is the curry, Is it suitable for children.1 answer
Also can you fill out these meals with rice to make them go further. Also I have a son with Allergies to nut's and eggs. Do any of your meals contain the afore mentioned.
Cameron - MACGREGOR, QLD(9 years ago)
Hi Cameron,
Whilst the specific spices in this mix aren't detailed, our staff members rate it as 'mild.' Happy Camper recommends serving these meals with rice which will make them go further. In relation to allergies, there are no nuts or eggs detailed in the ingredients list and Happy Camper states: "Our Factories do not use nuts in any of our products or in the factory at all, so our factory is “nut free†BUT we can not guarantee that the other factories that supply some of the ingredients to our factory for our meals don’t use nuts." There is unfortunately no mention about eggs specifically so you could perhaps give them a call on 1300 76 88 44 for more specific details.
