Rich and Andrew, two brothers with backgrounds in expedition leadership and special forces, founded On Track Expeditions to share the Kokoda Track experience with fellow Australians. They developed strong ties with local communities in Papua New Guinea and built a team of experts to support their operations.
Frustrated with the poor quality of freeze-dried meals available for remote expeditions, they decided to create their own solution. This led to the establishment of On Track Meals, partnering with Eric, a firefighter and veteran, to develop nutritious, tasty, and shelf-stable meals for outdoor adventures.
After years of research and development, including collaboration with a retort pouch technology specialist, On Track Meals now offers a range of high-quality outdoor meals. These meals are designed to stay fresh for up to three years, even in harsh conditions, providing adventurers with a superior alternative to traditional freeze-dried options.
