Saturn7 Omni directional antenna 1 answer
Can I use this without mounting it onto my camper trailer roof and is this a reliable high standard antenna
Marcus - West Lakes Shore, SA (4 months ago)
G'day Marcus,
Wherever you set it up, it will need to be mounted or anchored down whilst in use because it's top heavy - you could try using small sandbags just to make sure it doesn't tip. I have also seen some people retrofit an awning pole with some sort of attachment point so the pole can be extended with the antenna on the top whilst camping. They just strap the pole to the edge of the trailer or vehicle. Whilst we don't have any reviews from customers on this product, we have sold several hundred of these units over the last 2 years and haven't had any complaints or warranty claims. Hopefully that gives some reassurance!

Antenna instal1 answer
can i use the power from my wine gard antenna to connect to your one
Glen - Buff point, NSW(9 months ago)
G'day Glen,
We don't sell the Winegard Antenna so I'm not 100% versed on the ins and outs of it. From your question I'm understanding you'd like to plug this antenna into the Winegard power socket.
I've had a quick look at a YouTube install video for that product and it looks like its powered by a separate 12v power cable? The Omni Directional TV Antenna is powered by a 5v USB cable that combines with the coaxial cable - from the info I've found it looks like you could use the Wineguard socket but you'd need one of those cigarette plug USB chargers like people use to charge their mobile phone whilst driving. I'd say you can put that into the 12v outlet on the Winegard power point, and plug the USB into that, and connect to coaxial cable to the other output.
Hope that makes sense & has answered your question!

Fitment1 answer
Does it screw straight onto the roof or do you need to attach too a wind up arm?
Robert - Ettalong Beach, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Robert,
As far as I'm aware, the majority of people just attach directly to the van roof. Hope that helps!

USB1 answer
Hi. Is this permanent fitting or magnet base. Is the USB for power located at the tv side?
Rene - Jindabyne, NSW (1 year ago)
G'day Rene,
It's a permanent install with screw holes on the based of the antenna. The USB end goes into a standard 240v or 12v USB outlet, which need to be plugged into a power source to provide power. The antenna plug will go into the TV directly.

Fitment 1 answer
Can this Ariel be fitted to a house
Dennis - Bardon, QLD(2 years ago)
G'day Dennis,
I don't see any reason why it couldn't, but the antenna cable is limited to 10m. If you are able to mount it to your roof and reach the TV within that distance, it's probably worth a shot!
